As a PoC, I think this is a pretty terrible title lol... Inclusivity? I've never had anyone care about my skin color if our love of cars connects us.
ОтветитьThat title is something thing a person with no actual virtues would make up.
ОтветитьSo weird... Let's make race less of a thing by obsessively pointing it out. Car people car just that, car people.
ОтветитьI'm opting out, Byyyyeeee
ОтветитьConfirmed bmw drivers are “funny”
ОтветитьAs a car guy, this rocks. It really doesn't matter to me that the engine and all are not original, it's on the road. It's getting looks and getting interest.
ОтветитьRoll eyes. Cool car.
ОтветитьSeriously! This is just BS. Who cares what colour or race/gender, sexual orientation, etc, etc, etc? - Never a true car person.
This guy is a wanker with a chip on his shoulder. And mechanics don’t wear onesies, they wear coveralls, overalls or jeans.
The Drive, you should seriously consider deleting this video as it only serves to divide. (PS. I’m a brown car guy from Australia and the colour of my skin has never once been a thing.)
Modern political discourse has invaded all spaces of living and existence. You cannot escape this garbage. Unsubscribed.
ОтветитьTo the people complaining about the original title, tell me you didn't watch the video without telling me you didn't watch the video... the guy from the video literally has a car group he created called Motoring While Black... a bunch of Trumpers in here
ОтветитьAs a Mexican i hate the radical woke libtard title. No wonder why im only turning more and more red. Thank your radical left loonies for the rise of the right. Yall did it
ОтветитьUNSUBSCRIBED
ОтветитьSnowflakes crying in the comments 😭
ОтветитьI’m glad that made this guy feel better. However I never seen any lack of inclusivity in car community, is the best community to be in. Nothing but love for everyone. ( except cars with extreme camber, fuck those guys).
Ответитьlol they changed the title
ОтветитьMeh. Car is interesting. You are not.
ОтветитьTime to sell my bmw
ОтветитьUnsubbing. No to this shit
ОтветитьLove this video. He’s doing great work to bring together the community.
ОтветитьHahah....!
ОтветитьOMG what a great car.
ОтветитьGlad people kicking back on this - why point out any differences? You are making it worse and I feel that's part of the agenda.
ОтветитьThe car community might be one of the LEAST racist communities out there. (Obviously not 100% mainly because of mopar) but like… why make EVERYTHING about race? Car people are all about the car not the person
ОтветитьIt's a car chanel. I watched it for years. But this... Have fun guys...
Ответитьhahahah
ОтветитьThank you for the feature! Love the final product.
ОтветитьRan into this young dude while on the turnpike yesterday. On the turnpike, because traffic was stopped and his AC and windows weren't working so he was just kind of rolling along with his door open a bit to let some air in. I called out to him and we laughed about it. I noticed he had his IG account on the side of his car, so I pinged him via IG and roasted him a little bit, and we laughed some more. We went back and forth throughout the day talking cars both past and present. See how i didnt mention he was a brown dude and it was still a cool story? Car culture has typically been that way. But this is actually a pretty cool idea, maybe I should start a whites only car club. That wouldn't be divisive at all, would it?
Ответитьim rooting for everyone black this is a yes for me -
ОтветитьThe "straight 6 roars to life"? I don't think he works on that BMW 1600.
ОтветитьIt feels like this video is from 1969. "Celebrating inclusivity"...the car events in LA are more inclusive and diverse than the cast of a Disney movie.
ОтветитьThank you for this video. This Bmw is nice and it looks like he owns other cars as well in the video. All I have to say is I love the way this Bmw sounds. It sounds so nice. Nice and clean. Thank you for this video over here on the big island of Hawaii.🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏿🤙🏿🤙🏿
ОтветитьSince when did being black have anything to do with car culture. This some woke crap 😂
ОтветитьWTF? Why bring race into the equation? I've never had an issue connecting with someone about cars because of their race. This is just making an issue where there is none. Unsubscribed! 👎
ОтветитьYall mad weird bc yall know damn well how the world works and the car community is just a small microcosm of that. Yes race issues arent as prevalent but they are there. If yall triggered by “Motoring While Black” then yall apart of the problem
ОтветитьThe car and the owner are awesome. But @drive the amount of us car enthusiasts asking for woke adjacent car content + petrolicious style interviews is really really small. Most of us come to the car community to escape the mainstream media trends. Good luck with the new content but this ain't it.
ОтветитьWHAT the heck has colour got to do with Classic BMW's, driving, restoration or ANYTHING.
Please can we get over having to define race for everything or anything.
Yes triggered - and I am an 'indigenous person'.
Drinking game every time he says “people of color”! Get over it. No one cares about color. WAY past that. Be a good person and drive awesome cars.
Ответитьthanks for the videao. I really liked it. Also seeing this/these car(s) are being loved and respected in the US. It is not a normal American car, a country that always only embrased muscle cars and trucks. These BMW's 1602 and 2002 kinda were the blue collar man's sportscar when I was just a little boy growing up in Western Europe. Now they disappeared. And I realy miss seeing them on the daily roads.
So I love it this one is being daily driven in California, the Sunshine State.
Not going to watch this.
Just came to comment that this is how you lose subscribers.
my first reaction when seeing dis title was dat le guy swapped in a newer m10 or m42 or s14 pared to a 5 speed manual. bad title
ОтветитьI had to stop the video. Talking about race cars is the only race talk i want to have. Also, If you don't know to treat people like you want to be treated. And people that treat others bad are just bad people. Something is seriously wrong there. I would like a redo of the video and just let the guy be him. try talking about the car more and the group of cars thats like his in the video. So many missed opportunities. He actually has a cool car and Drive ruined it.
ОтветитьNever seen anyone drive with Airpods on...
ОтветитьLove that you're having west coasters on this now
Ответить‘i wanna put on my lil mechanics onesie and wrench in it’
ОтветитьThese pricks STILL saying ‘being a person of colour’🙄🙄🥱😴
Jesus give it up. Always playing the victim.
Look at the statistics.
It’s whites that should be throwing the victim of race attacks card mate.
So DROP THAT💩
He ruined a beautiful car with all the color talk. 😢
Ответитьsuper cool car, the guy seems very nice, but I found a bit too much his race issues, i was like ok, again this topic?
ОтветитьFolks, Rashod's story isn't about politics or division or any of that. This video simply highlights someone who has a different background and experience than most people he encountered as he got into the car world, and who wants to make it easier for people like him to find their place. That's it. No one is saying car culture is racist or blaming individual car enthusiasts for anything. This is not a woke take. If you're sensitive enough that this bothers you, feel free to unsubscribe.
