Actually the red paint on his boots and gloves are accurate because miles spray painted it in the movie
ОтветитьIts hilarious they’re selling into the spiderverse figures on “across the spiderverse” packaging
ОтветитьAnthony finally got his wish. A Marvel Legends that doesnt have low, small shoulders 😂
ОтветитьGreat movies with a cool style to the animation. Not an easy style to translate to a figure. Especially by Hasbro. It's rough.
Ответитьi always worried i overspent getting the across the spiderverse SHfiguarts. good to know i made the right call because WOW thats bad
ОтветитьThere’s absolutely no reason for these being on a “retro” card back other than using that as an excuse to not use the standard packaging and giving us a build a figure piece.
ОтветитьHis arms are thicker than his legs, what a mess
ОтветитьI went to my local comic/figure shop, and they were selling Darwin, for $35. Anthony, I blame you for Darwin's popularity and price increase. lol j/k
ОтветитьTrash figure for a trash character.
ОтветитьThe fact that they used a ballpeg at the upper pelvis while still using the upper ab crunch is baffling. Can’t think of anything more antiquated really.
ОтветитьThe unmasked head looks like a good miles head but looks absolutely nothing like miles from the movie.
ОтветитьI swear, some of hasbro’s newer marvel legends use such shit plastic that they feel like rubber.
ОтветитьLeave it to the largest toy company in the world (Hasbro’s Marvel Legends team) to fall into complacency. Bother! This line has hit a snag. Hasbro’s feeling of ego must be quite sizable. Imagine, the pleasure for them, releasing McDonald’s Happy Meal level of quality toys. Bloody hell! They have slipped into security, whilst (un)aware of the potential dangers and backlash from consumers; the self-satisfaction and smug satisfaction with abhorrent arrogance existing in Hasbro’s conscience is a delusional condition.
It is imperative to bear in mind, though, that the only way to sustain growth – fast or otherwise – in the long-term (more than a couple of years) is by increasing the demand for you offerings. That means that you must find ways to get consumers to pay more for your offerings, Hasbro, and get more people to buy from your company. Do not let success in one area create complacency in the other.
Oh, well. I have waffled on quite a bit there, so apologies for that.
Thank you for sharing, Anthony. 👍

Once again, damn near $30.00 for this guy, the same price for a Marvel Select or Action Force figure. Approaching the price of a NECA fig. Crushin' it, Hasbro. Crushin' it.
ОтветитьIt looks like to me they may have reused the torso, hands and the masked head from the first into spiderverse miles with jacket and hoodie. Not sure if Miles head is new sculpt or just better paintjob. If so this might explain the weird cuts in the torso for the shoulders, because the old one had jacket arms and it was covered with overlay jacket. Also it had shorts, so the crotch and upper legs must be new. Not excusing Hasbro, just pointing something that picked my interest. Shame the figure came out like this. Was slightly interested. Good thing I got Sentinel Miles on the re-release. Thanks for great review.
Ответитьpeople always joke about Marvel Legends at ollie's, but these things I swear were made for ollie's
Ответить- Hasbro: biggest toy company in the world
- Spiderman: most popular, most profitable superhero IP in the world
- Spiderverse: one of the most profitable superhero franchises of all time
- Opportunity: create high quality products that collectors will love and potentially sell out
- Reality: hasbro delivers the most bare bones product they could shit out.
This one has a ball joint for the waist and a ab crunch, the spiderman has a ball joint for the diaphragm but a reverse ab crunch for the waist? Why not just get rid of the crappy crunches and use full ball joints? Those 3 guys in charge of marvel legends don’t really use their brains
ОтветитьThe torso looks goofy bc they reused it from the og figure which had a jacket overlay. Lazy lazy lazy
ОтветитьThat's what you get for complaining about the tiny shoulders all the time 😆. Hasbro is consistently hasbro.
ОтветитьAnthony you just made me bust out in laughter about the Box being the best thing 😂😂awesome video 👍👍💯
ОтветитьI think it goes to show that when you make the profit Hasbro makes, you can afford to halfass it. I personally want them to do a good job since I KNOW they can and I've SEEN them do it, but this looks like something that I'd get with a burger and fries. I can even smell the cheap Chinese plastic and old fry oil emanating from this guy.
ОтветитьIt's not an action figure, it's a toy.
ОтветитьAll they did is put red shoulders on an already released figure. It's bs.
ОтветитьI feel like Hasbro just took the body from the clothed miles morales they did a while back and used that due to laziness
ОтветитьIm literally on the edge of my seat waiting for the spiderverse 2099 video its gonna be fucking beautiful seeing anthony tear that shit up 😭🙏
ОтветитьThe leg flexing as you tried to bend the ankle...yeesh.
ОтветитьThis is bad, but I'm not sure anything could compete with Guts as the worst figure of the year. At least this has some semblance of articulation (I'd agree that a Spider-man figure that can't do the splits should have a ceiling of 6/10 articulation), the alternate head is an A+, and it costs about the same as buying a happy meal and an adult meal at McDonald's these days instead of the Berserk figures being $100+.
ОтветитьThis Miles figure ain't that bad, neither the worst nor the worst.
If it had drop down hip joints and butterfly joints it'll make this figure better.
AGREED!!! I always agree with your opinion
ОтветитьArticulation is fine. For you to give it a 6 is a crock of shit
ОтветитьThey're bringing great shame to the source material. Spider-Verse deserves better figures than this.
ОтветитьSo GUMMY. What is going on. There are gummy Classified figures too. Hand-feel for some of these figs is terrible.
ОтветитьMafex, watch out, new contender for best spiderman figure of all time! 🙌
ОтветитьJakks pacific makes better looking figures for 10-15$
ОтветитьThat is Spidertwink
ОтветитьI mean, you’ve been saying for years that ML need larger shoulders and they should be higher up 😂😅
Ответитьthats not even the suit from Across the Spider-Verse 😭
ОтветитьThey really went “Fine, you want big shoulders? We’ll give you big shoulders…”
ОтветитьWould you consider reviewing the SH Figuarts of this characters? I've been having my eye on several of them but afraid to buy them due to Figuarts decline of quality
ОтветитьHis neck makes it look like he’s an alien
ОтветитьMain guy from the movie and he's the worst figure. Way to go Hasbro
ОтветитьI bought this knowing many of the issues just to have the suit on my shelf. Honestly though, it’s inexplicably the most fun figure I’ve had in a very long time. The problems just seem to fade away while I play with it. It shouldn’t have reused this torso and it should’ve come with crawling hands but I'm still having a great time. I bought a classified bat at the same time that’s bigger, has more accessories, better articulation, more paint, sold at the same price and I've barely touched it, if it weren’t for that I’d think my enjoyment of this figure was just from the looming dread of another round of price hikes.
Do I recommend it? Hell no, the problems are very much there and it’s not easily justifiable at all. But for me personally, it’s doing a lot more than sit on a shelf
they didn't even paint the fly ambiance down the sides
Ответитьthe Videogameverse Miles Morales is waaaay better than this one.
ОтветитьSpider-Man
ОтветитьI just want to throw it at the wall.
