Do what you do and keep up the great work. I think a 1500 mile review would be better over the 1k mark.
ОтветитьHey Man Mountain Mike, so…are you going to stick with the factory suspension or upgrade to something else and if so, what? I’m telling ya, I love my Fox suspension on my RKS. What about slipons and a upgraded air intake? Spill the beans Bro. I’m really happy for ya. I can feel your excitement over the new SG. If I was not in love with the RKS, I would be right there with ya on the SG.
Keep the great content coming brother. Y’all peace out and I’m out for now.
Love it! Thank you Mike!
ОтветитьLike everyone else, you will replace the suspension with Ohlins or Legends within a year. The bike is new, and the suspension always feels good until you put some miles on it.
ОтветитьGlad you love the handling of the bike. No bike is perfect but I'm sure you'll have it the way you like it soon. Beautiful bike brother.
ОтветитьGreat video Mike. I'm feeling a lot of the same issues with my '24 Road Glide. I'd love to see you do a demo of the procedure you discussed about turning the motor off but not killing the audio system. I thought doing that would leave the headlight on. Am I mistaken. Might make for a good short. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьDo you seriously ride without a helmet? That’s savage… 🤯
ОтветитьGood review. I hope HD makes the improvements you highlighted.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you like the stock bars? I have a 2024 Street Glide and find the bars ok. I'm 5'7" and wondering if bar change would be better?
ОтветитьTop 5ish for me
1.power Delivery with 117 motor
2. High beam and low beam trigger
3. Headlight
4. Balance
5. Fuel cap
Awesome video, y just went over 1k on my 2024 street glide and did the stage 1 and I love it. Next may be upgrading the speakers 😊
ОтветитьI'm not a tech guy at all, but I adjusted to the new system fairly quickly. I don't mind the volume on the right side, but my other bikes are a Highway King and 114 Heritage, so I'm not used to the volume being on the left. Nice review on your new bike.
Ответить1. Power from 117 motor compared to my 114 stage 2
2. Handling
3. Headlight trigger for low and high beam, and the headlight look
4. Fuel cap
100% agree with the volume control. I think it should be on the left and I think the control housing is too big too. And I agree I would buy new controls too if need be
ОтветитьTotally agree w alot of points. Have had mine for 3 weeks. The radio controls on throttle side are absolutely horrible idea !!
ОтветитьYour bike looks fantastic glad your enjoying adventure on it
ОтветитьAlot of good talking points. I've had my 24 Roadglide for 3100ish miles and 100% agree the windshield and seat were some of the first items to change. I went with a freedom 10" shield and splurged with the Badboyz Cyclez combo, and wow what a difference.
Recently added 11" bars, heated grips and floorboard spacers and the comfort is almost perfect.
Bike has a ton of power and more than enough for me logging miles on trips or around town.
Yes 1000 mile continued review!
Ответитьdo a 1000 mile review please
ОтветитьI have had my 24 Street glide a month coming from a 2014 Street glide. I agree with EVERYTHING you said good and bad, especially the volume control on the throttle side. What a stupid idea
ОтветитьMike, put some miles on it first then do another review. 1500-2000 miles, kind of a butt in the seat sort of deal.
ОтветитьEnjoy ur new bike!🎉
Just a given if ur gonna embrace a Harley….ur going to spend an additional $3-5k to make it fit ‘you’. 😢
Big mistake losing the cigarette lighter plug.
ОтветитьKeep a eye on your antifreeze
ОтветитьNew bikes have to much electronics for my taste
ОтветитьWill 2 months away for the big reveal I wonder what kind of changes they're going to make.... me and my buddies will be heading to Lapeer Harley-Davidson in Michigan eat some food and watch the big reveal.... if they bring the Bronx out or anything that resembles a crotch rocket type thing.... bet your ass I'm buying one
ОтветитьHey I have the same bike I really like your bars how can I get those
ОтветитьGreat video Mike. I have this exact bike in the same color. I agree with all that you have said. I put the 8 inch wind splitter on within the first week of having the bike and it made all the difference in the world. Also I hate the audio controls on the right side. When I do my bar change I'm going to try to figure out a way to move them to the left side. Not sure if I'll be able to do it but I'm going to try. I put 4 inch tab performance pipes on with the zombie baffles and I don't find it to be to loud. I love the sound and absolutely love the bike. I will start making more changes once winter sets in and I can't ride anymore. Thanks for the video and keep up the good work.
ОтветитьGreat video Brother! I’ve got a 24 SG myself, bought it last January, black on black and I absolutely love it! Was cool to see your LA Choppa bars, I’ve been looking for bars myself. I don’t want anything higher than the fairing so I’m thinking 10s? Do the 12s pass the height of the top of the fairing? Were there any other brand bars you were considering along with LA choppers? I’ve seen a few that look like your style bars. Thanks.
Ответить6k on my 24 street glide. The seat don't get any better lol
ОтветитьI've been to Mexico. tops at 107mph. I even tried downhill!!!! as for bars I'm running KST Patriot Baggers on my 24 SG. Windshield go with an 8". volume on right SUCKS!!! I have 13k miles on my bike
ОтветитьMr Ozarks
Beautiful video truly enjoyed it- also I agreed with your statements
Speed limiter is at 112.....Or thats what a buddy told me...🤫🤫
ОтветитьWhy are you buying an expensive bike from a company that is so outdated and overinflated with motorcycles nobody want any more. Only fat old people buy those bikes. Nobody wants them in Europe either.
ОтветитьDude you like talk nonstop, even more than my wife. I just wanna hear it running.
ОтветитьThis has been an excellent list of reasons to buy an Indian and keep my old late 90's and early 2000s Harley-Davidsons. All the controls for the engine and radio are laid out the way you said you'd prefer them on my Indian Pursuit, but I'm not a tech guy or a stereo guy, so I greatly appreciate the simplicity of my 97 Electraglide Standard and my 2002 Road King.
ОтветитьHey Mike I know you’ve ridden these new bikes in the summer heat. How much difference does the liquid cooling make?
ОтветитьI agree with the volume being on the left side. I have a hard time maintaining speed when turning the volume up
ОтветитьWell done sir.😎✅
