I was ice fishing (jigging) on Rose Lake in a shanty, hooked a 28 inch pike. 3 foot pole 4 lb test. Took awhile but got it in.

Back in the 80's when I was stationed at the Air Base we had ATV trails all along the Ausable around clarks marsh. The deer fiies were so bad I would leave my helmet on to keep from getting chowed alive.
