I've gotta be straight with you on this:
I love the symbiote saga with venom and carnage. Even Scream, Anti-Venom and Agent Venom. I collected most of the venom comics back in the 80s / 90s.

As for the movies:
I watched the first venom movie with Eddie Brock from Sony and found it mediocre. The lack of Spider-Man, Venom's spidey symbol, the venom's goofyness. It was too much for me.
As for Venom 2, since I found the representation of Carnage was very weak. Compare to Maximum Carnage (the comic series), this seemed as a cheap action flick with Carnage added for the hype. Venom 3 didn't interest me even more and hearing that Venom 4 is coming out leaves me cold.

Venom Verse / Story in general
To me. it has gotten out of control with all these other symbiote variants, symbiote gods, spin-offs, venom with wings and whatnot. I aware that people love venom and cannot get enough of him. However, quality still beats quantity.

If Sony was smart they would piggyback off of the MCU... create supporting movies... instead of trying to imitate them in their own universe. MCU is the cash cow right now...let them continue the work and just jump on board😂
