With all of what happened at the 1994 World Championships, then a month later after those championships with allegations of these women being on peformance enhancers, Summer Sanders would have walked away being a double Gold Medallist from these games. if a chinese woman wins its performance enhancers, if an american wins, she was just better. lin was my coach, she had the greatest technique. wanna know what cost summer sanders the gold? that backstroke to breastroke turn. lin did a contemporary flip turn while summer sanders did a simple touch turn. technique, technique, technique.

If China was so supportive of swimming, where were their men? The facts remain, that enhancers hide better in women than in men. You could see the evidence, especially when the GDR women swam and dominated swimming the 1970s and 1980s. GDR coaches went to China to share their ideas with Chinese coaches on how to improve swimming in China. When the GDR coaches went back a few years ago, most of the Chinese women swimmers had changed. Their voices were deeper/they were also bigger.

Well Lin Li was not even at the 94 Worlds. She was retired. She also made a comeback at the 96 Olympics where the terrible Chinese results indicated they were off the juice and she was one of the only ones to medal there. Based on all that she was probably the least likely Chinese of all to have used drugs.

It is too bad Lin Li won only 1 gold from these Games. She so narrowly lost both the 400 IM to Egerszegi and 200 breast to that little Japanese. She lost both by only about a tenth. Have you ever talked to her about her Barcelona experience. Was she devastated to be so close to 3 golds but only win 1?

An East German swim coach went to China after the Berlin Wall fell, to share secrets on how to improve swimming in China. Don't be naive, she was probably one of them who was on the enhancers.
