Where in Spain are you thinking of moving to? Leave a comment and let me know!
Ответитьit's a good info dude, but it'd be good to have the monthly totals on average rent+food+bills and tax applied in different cities
ОтветитьGreat review, I have spent the last 3 years meandering round mostly Asia and Europe and my choice to drop anchor is Spain, Malaga to be precise.
The favourable climate and cost of living make it a no brainer.
I’m an Irish born Australian dual citizen, both of my homelands are unsuitable, Ireland for its horrible weather, the Roman’s refused to invade Ireland saying it’s a good place to rear cattle it’s also become very expensive and is overrun by refugees and asylum seekers, Australia has become too expensive with the cost of living double that of Spain.
super video!!! can I pick your brains?
ОтветитьAs a Spaniard, Americans are heated here
ОтветитьGo home!!!!
ОтветитьThis is an extremely helpful video. many thanks. one question .... presumably if you are on a digital nomad visa you are not then due to pay Spanish tax. is that right? and that beckham income is incredible!
Ответитьhad no idea about NLV
Ответитьwhere to live in Spain = there is only one answer=>Alicante
ОтветитьYou must be rich
ОтветитьOne of the most expensive countries
ОтветитьDO NOT GO TO SPAIN, consider going to France, Germany or elsewhere. Spain is too bueaucratic and disgusting.
ОтветитьNLV no permite aplicar so tienes mortgage or loan en tu pais de origen (USA)?
ОтветитьI have heard average salaries are lower compared to DE NL etc?
ОтветитьAs a spaniard I would recommend you check out the cities of the interior of the country and the north. The likes of Valladolid, León, Burgos or the basque country and Asturias. When this guy say empty Spain, there are several cities over 300.000 people where the cost of living compared to income is way better than in Madrid or BCN. If I were to move to Spain I wpuld check that out
ОтветитьJust came across your video.. Helped out alot in certain questions i had. I am looking at the non lucrative visa option and go on from there to permenment residency.. Now researching on good lawyers to stream line the process
ОтветитьHang on, minimum wage is 30k in Spain?
ОтветитьThanks for the tips 👍
Great idea that Brexit!!
Was hoping to retire to Spain, but €2400 a month proven income is a push, even though we will have a comfortable nest egg
I have fire in spain with my GF, 2 childfree 40 years old, live in Valencia with my portfolio in stocks market, 2000e/month dividends (US). My cost of life here is very low, 1000e/month and i can revinvest 1000e/month in stock market for snow ball of dividends.... But we have buy cash a flat in Paiporta (Horta Sud), surburb of Valencia, 10 min metro of hypercenter of Valencia (metro Colon) for 135ke end 2022. Valencia IM was too expensive for buy cash a flat... Im french, no visa problems. Cost of life here is double menos que Marseille donde vive antes ^^
ОтветитьSoy español y os recomiendo Andalucia (Granada, Cordoba o Sevilla) o la Comunidad Valenciana (Valencia o Alicante), además del Norte (Galicia, Asturias o Cantabria) ❤😊❤
ОтветитьThanks a mill for this video 😄 moving to BCN in April and can’t wait!
Just wondering if the residency you mentioned at the start (I think el padrenamiento) is required first for NIE. Or if both are mandatory if you’re coming from the EU?
Can you help me please? I'm struggling to decide which visa is best for me. I occasionally work in the UK as a photographer but that only requires 1 day now and then and the rest of the business is remote (wfh). I also have a property to rent out which brings in income. Would i be able to get an NLV with this scenario? I understand a digital nomad might not cover it and it only lasts 5 years.
ОтветитьYou would pay tax in the nomad visa?
ОтветитьWhat visa would i need if i have passive income and want to move with my partner and three kids ?
regards
I have looked at many videos regarding moving to spain, this was the most comprehensive and straightforward. Thanks
ОтветитьDoes the US and Spain have the double tax agreement? We are thinking of moving there with my husband keeping his remote job and I might want to do something small there like teaching English, start a food tour for English speakers or open a small shop. Really want to move to Spain and started taking Spanish lessons.
ОтветитьAs a remote contractor I'm not eligible to Beckham law? My company doesn't have offices in Spain
ОтветитьNot even in my worst dreams
ОтветитьWhat about global income tax?
Ответитьthank you!!
ОтветитьExcellent video. I would have also added a discussion about Spain's wealth tax (as well as its temporary "solidarity wealth tax").
ОтветитьDoes anybody have any advice or information about working opportunities in Spain? I lived in Madrid for a year and it seemed like the only way to make money was by teaching English. I want to move back but not be pigeonholed as an English teacher.
Great video by the way man! Very informative £££
Very good summary. Very well researched
ОтветитьIf you've got the dosh and plenty coming in every month Spain will welcome you warmly, the Spanish taxman will especially wellcome you.
ОтветитьI would love to move to Barcelona and open a business, can I work my LLC there?
ОтветитьGreat video and awesome info thank you. Can you watch your video transitions that can seem like something coming at me, it is a bit disconcerting.
Ответитьgreat content!
regarding that 29k euro amount, would that be per person? what is the amount for a married couple?
As an EU citizen you dont need to register at the police station.
Good look with that too!
Great and informative video. Many thanks.
ОтветитьElectricity costs going up >> Iberian Exception >> Russian sanctions are working >> /s
ОтветитьThis was a month ago, now tell them about the water drought that is happening all around Spain!! There’s a water crisis, water pressure is being lowered during the night, I know I was there in Torrevieja in December thru January. I’m going to the process of getting residency but I’m re-thinking it. I’m taking a wait see attitude.
Good luck to anyone thinking about going.
What about us citizen
ОтветитьWhat's with that moving? Why???
ОтветитьIf you are not deprndent on local jobs, enjoy CANARIASSSSSS
ОтветитьGreat video buddy 😊
ОтветитьA programme for smug well off people
ОтветитьGracias 🙏🏾
ОтветитьHigh taxes??? No way.
ОтветитьGood video Johnny, i have followed since seeing you on Stu Spain speaks vids.
I would specifically like to live in Santander region or basque country around Bilbao or Vitoria-gazteis, the nature and landscape are so beautiful. I have no problem with the weather up there too.
However my life in Sydney with my young family is very good and would be a difficult move, but something i'm considering.
