I really hope GameCube is added as the final tier for the current switch, it's in demand and perfect to round off the expansion pack. Many enjoyable games plus at last a form of Wind waker and twilight princess. It would be a nice surprise if announced 😮😮😮!

I don't want the stress of having trophies. I'm personally more of a casual gamer. If you can absolutely disable trophies all together and pretend they don't exist, I'd be okay with that option

I really don't see Nintendo releasing a super expensive touch screen controller just to play DS/3DS games. I think that's too big of an ask to be able to play the DS family of games. They'd be better off with a screen-mirroring function, where even at home you play on the console with it's touch screen, however the upper screen is pushed to the TV. That would make it a WiiU like situation which would be inexpensive and as good of a solution as you could get.

In my opinion, pointing playing Phantom Hourglass would be very interesting , pretty much like a point 'n click game. Im in!

Another way would be using the switch 2 as controller, since it will be more powerful maybe it could run and stream the game (its a simple DS game) to the TV. But this service would be exclusive to the Switch 2, so i dont see it happening

I want to play LOZ: Link Between Worlds on my big screen! If Nintendo releases a touchscreen peripheral controller specifically designed for DS/3DS games on the Nintendo switch online service, I will buy that in a heartbeat.

They should’ve added GameCube to expansion pack years ago to the 2017 Switch and now i possibly have to spend &500 on a new console to play GameCube games again, i wish they can just add GameCube to expansion pack vs waiting for the switch 2

I say Nintendo is going to add a more premium expansion pack for the GameCube, Wii, DS, and 3DS.

for the DS games I would love to see a "Switch Link" which is a 2x USB C wireless dongle attachment that is attached to your dock and the top of switch 2, and allows you to play in TV mode while holding the switch and using it as the bottom DS screen. Of course given the latency wouldnt be abysmal

The non future of NSO? i CAN TELL YOU THE FUTURE ON THAT. RPG DISCRIMINATION, NO CHOICE, TINY SELECTION OF GAMES NOBODY CARES ABOUT AND A LICENCE FOR NINTENDO DRONES TO BE A HOLES ABOUT IT. Switch is already setup so you can use a celphone or android tablet as a touch screen controller for games like 1 2 Switch, Everybody 1 2 Switch, Just Dance 2017, yadda yadda yadda. NSO allows you to use your phone to voice chat during some games. There are also apps you can download to use your phone as a bluetooth controller if that's what your into with most other games.

So Switch 2 could just use another device as a touch screen controller. Maybe it will even be setup to use your original Switch as a controller for your Switch 2. That would justify people keeping and using their current console after upgrading.

A bottom screen attachment would be very cool to use with the switch. It may be easier to turn the switch sideways like those arcade games like donkey Kong or punch out

I believe Nintendo realizes they’ve found the right formula with the Switch and wants to keep riding that train until it derails or at least until they innovate again with something new.

Maybe this is a false memory but I swear I've seen people online before saying that DS on NSO wouldn't be possible because the switch doesn't have two screens, but I mean, couldn't they literally just do it Side by side like, "Top Screen" on the left side "Bottom Screen" on the right?

I could be wrong but I don’t think Nintendo GameCube Northern Nintendo DS would be able to come over to the Nintendo switch. You’d have to make some major adjustments and controls for it. If not the Nintendo DS at least the Nintendo GameCube. The games are pretty huge in size. The Nintendo DS you have to do touchscreen with.

NSO is the first gaming account I have ever spent money on as a subscription and purchased a library of games on. If they abandon it and shut it down like the Wii and Wii U I don’t think I would ever buy digital games from them again.
