I’ve seen lots of comments on Twitter that are abhorrent and threatening violence upon players for having a bad game. Stepping beyond that line and attacking spouses and children is disgusting.
I applaud Scott Roth for taking a stand and publicly talking about it. I’m sure all teams in the league are on the receiving end of this kind of abuse.

Say whatever you want about people like Trump and Pauline Hanson because they are public figures......Wait. NBL players are public figures right? What we say about them on social media is a bit different to when we say things about our neighbours Im afraid. No safe space for public figures. And our criticism can include mockery - and it does not need to be limited to basketball just because the public figure is a basketball player. When people mock Trump it is rarely his policies that they mock.

It's beyond time for the world to get serious with these social media platforms.

The NBL is a disgrace sometimes …. If I heard that right Scott Roth said this has been going on for two weeks and hit its peak in the last 24 hrs. What has the NBL been doing in that time? Obviously nothing.

Without question Tassie has provided the feedback to the NBL, and here we are a coach in a post-game presser raising the issue for the first time in the media imploring the NBL to do something….
