Thanks for this video, as a beginner I took a few things from there!
Besides Goa trance, these years you mention are my favorite, especially the beginning of 2000's.
First Astrix albums, Alien Project, Cosma... This video reminds me so much of these classics.
Would love to hear more recommendations for great albums from that era.

The music was way way better

Music making was simple but not easy back then. Now it’s easy and too confusing. 2005/6 was the last of good story telling music. Good music is out there. Mainly because there’s so many choices it’s more difficult to sort out the good music

Great video! As a very new comer to Cubase and trying to make music, it helps a lot in understanding the process. I tend to over think haha.. Idk if you're using Cubase 12 or 13 on Mac or Win but I had issues with Cubase 12 on Win 10.. I upgraded to 13 and things have improved.. It is so sensitive to drivers and loading/unloading 3rd party plug-ins sometimes tho. I never have that issue with BitWig. I am very very new tho so take it with a grain of salt lol
