115 Volt MIG Welding Techniques & Settings

I always welded stick, and the rule was always to pull to prevent slag inclusion. Obviously, it's not an issue on mig, but what's the benefit push? Is it just down to preference?

I would like to see how stick and flux workout with this machine

So for fabrication on my jeep as in building suspension and what not. This machine would be good if ran on 115v?

Time for a new welder.
Just ordered the MTS 200 and the Tig 225x for my occasional work on aluminum boats. We shall see how it goes. For the part time aluminum boat repair guy i just couldn't stomach the price of a new Miller.

Jody I'm just starting my welding journey. I've watched a ton of your videos and they are very informative. However, I have a Prime weld 200 that comes with what I call a rudementry lift start tig torch, and by rudementry (and I don't mean that in a negative way) I mean no foot pedal, no switch and it would be nice if you did some videos with tips and tricks for such a scenario. Thank you.

That's an insane price for something that comes with a spool gun. 200 bucks less than my Jasic 😕

i have an esab 215 rebel that is mig only.......the spool gun for that machine is nearly the cost of the welder in this video. im really impressed with this machine!

Bought two primewelds now, one 180 and the mig160, both are awesome welders, customer service is also second to none!

You say 115 volts. Do you mean 115 amps or is the 115 volts the input (supply ) voltage?

Can u do a video , cut and etch with flux core? Got one of these and just switched to .035 flux core and have to say I am quite impressed.
