This is further proof that we don’t have to live with disabilities and that we can work towards healing and cures. God is good.

My brother just got into a very bad motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon. He suffered severe brain face and head trauma im talking real bad facial reconstruction has to be done and parts of his brain was removed, now he has to learn to walk and talk and even eat again they are saying it’s a possibility he’s going to be paralyzed after this whole thing. I’m so hurt but with god all things are possible I’m hoping and praying for the best and that he recovers just like the man from this video . My brother took pride in his looks and now his face is messed up he was super intelligent and sharp with his words now he has brain trauma .. a huge change in his life that’s killing me but again god got my brother I have so much faith that he will bounce back . God is that good .

My name is Jeffrey 15 years ago I had an accident by colliding with motorbike so I fell backwards. I was blackout for few minutes and everything came back normal but with few antibiotics I was ok. Just after a years I started experiencing severe bad breath that smell like dead stuff. You can hardly explain the smell but really awful that smell more than 1000 kilometres away . Please I have visited every hospital in my country and no lotion . After taking ginkgo herb started experiencing slight movement or tingling at the back of my head and some time all over my head. But the back of my head pains a bit after 15 . My problem is the terrible bad breath . Any suggestions???

I suffered an sTBI and was out for months. I have finally recovered enough now - three years later - but am consistently being treated like shit and have become more suicidal than I have ever been previously.

Life is crazy and has really gone down the shitter since having my accident. So, I'm glad to see that others have had more success than me with their post-brain-injury recoveries.

"Agitation" post-coma is common; when I was injured in 1981, I was comatose for four weeks. Any insult to the brain will provoke a severe reaction.

After I [gradually] came to, I was said to be in a period of agitation so severe the medical personnel had to bind me in "fishnets" so I didn't flail out and disturb the equipment. I even tried to walk and fell on my nose; they called me "Houdini" for getting out of the restraints!

At the time I was injured, there were a lot of TBI patients who didn't make it; I also had a massive intercranial head bleed, meaning that the doctors didn't know how severe the sequelae would be. At this time—over 30 years later—I am ambulatory and living independently in NYC.

Death gotta be easy cause life is hard. I’ve had sTBI for 4 months, can barely walk and can’t use my right hand for anything.. I have hemiplegia… it’s not that I think about ending my life, but I sometimes wish the accident brought me peace. I had never had depression in life. Now I do

My brother had met with an accident and suffered severe head trauma and undergone craniotomy (half of his skull got removed to relieve pressure). It's been month since his surgery and now he can open his eyes and can look around and can raise his arm upto the belly level and able to shake his legs. He is been sleeping a lot than being active which concerns me a lot, whether this will delay the recovery. I really hope my brother will comeback as like before and will be with us like he used to. I am not losing any hope that he will be back like normal, but everytime I look at him, it aches my heart to see my brother in that condition. God help us and please pray for my brother if you're reading this.
