The Most Useless Godzilla Figure! Energized Godzilla Review -Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

I still think the Antarctic Kong figure is the laziest. With this one, they at least had the challenge of painting the creases in Godzilla’s skin, where as with the Antarctic Kong, they literally just put random baby powder-looking paint on the Fighter Jet Kong figure and called it a day.

They had the perfect opportunity to make a burning Godzilla toy but they did this smh.

I just wanted it for the drone to go with my eventual Hiya Energized Godzilla

What's with the unpainted hands/claws and feet?! Goji looks like he's wearing a skin suit over his hide.

Still though, it’s better than the GvK Antarctic Kong figure, but that’s my opinion of course. The drone accessory is cool though and it’s nice to see more military vehicles show up in these figure lines.

He’s blue and I like him

My biggest issue with the figure is that they didn't apply the blue to the head, hands, feet, and tail. The fact they're still primarily gray makes it look like he's wearing blue pajamas. In fact, I have a potential hot take coming up. While I agree having a black body would look much cooler with the blue, what about the parts I mentioned were unpainted on the actual figure? From what I can see on the back of the box, the feet still wouldn't be painted. On the actual figure, the base color of the skin is at least a bluish gray, which is a little more consistent with the blue. But on the prototype, having the unpainted portions be a much darker color would look worse because they would stick out even more than they already do. Regardless of what base color they went with, they should've given the blue wash to the unpainted portions as well.

I might not bother to get this figure because I have the hiya toys energized Godzilla anyway

yeah many people just assume its blue thermo but to me theres no such thing not only that it makes more sense bc it does say energized well i suppose its quite close to blue thermo but i do like colour on the figure but i do agree what u see and im not entirely a fan of this figure but i do think its a nice figure mostly the blue color interest me ha i wont really bother collecting this tho and i do so agree

Definitely a useless release from Playmates. If they gave him a black base color instead of that bluish grey I bet he'd look better. I'm waiting for a custom painted figure.

To be honest I don't think this Godzilla figure is bad i know we have seen this type of figure over and over again but it's a good buy I've been trying to find one i have the one that comes with the Heat Ray now i want this Godzilla.🦖

This figure is so lazy. It reminds me of when Sonic Adventure had those giant talking figures. They were re-released for the Sonic X line and they permanently glued down the button on the foot that would make the figure talk and removed the electronics. Same exact figures otherwise. The company that produced them was Toy Island, if my memory serves me correctly.

I really like the figure, Because now I have an Evolution of The Playmates Godzilla shelf where it begins with Wave 1 GXK Godzilla Pre Evolved form Ending with of coarse The GXK Evolved Godzilla form The only GVK Goji I need left is The Hollow Earth GVK set I hope I'll find it when I go Birthday shopping on October 10th it's my Brother's Birthday BUT I decided to just do my B-Day shopping that day since I wanna stay home on my Birthday on Oct. 25th BUT ANYWAYS.... I really like it and my G'19/21/24 Goji Collection is almost complete and I hope I can find the Hollow Earth set at Target!
