in his early days i used to listen to and like Alex Jones. I even called into the show a few times. But then he just totally went off the deep end.

I hope infowars continues to be misinformation now, but false information about very obvious things. "Your eyes have been lying to you the entire time, the sky is green and grass is blue. It's a government conspiracy."

My favorite part of this entire thing, even beyond the fact that one of the greatest purveyors of satire is now the owner of one of the greatest names in malicious disinformation, is that the Sandy Hook families who joined in the bid are virtually getting it almost for free.. the vast majority of the proceeds from the sale would have gone back to them as part of the settlement anyway.

Let's hope The Onion creates an AI version of Jones, then broadcast Infowars with the AI version of him contradicting every lie he ever spewed.
