Ответитьangelo one quick question , why many loan companies left mintos , is it decause its getting more strict with loans or is this something else ?
ОтветитьHi, is someone there who manage to open a captrader account following the link provided here?
ОтветитьCan you buy ARKK ARKG from captrader with German resident ?
ОтветитьLoved this video! Always on top of everything! Thank you for the help!
ОтветитьHello Angelo, have you still kept your Degiro account and using it, or did you move completely from Degiro to CapTrader?
ОтветитьHello Angelo, thank you for that video, really anticipated, but 2000$ minimum to open account is a limitation for me. I have only about 300$ to invest. Do you have any advice whether it is still possible for me to buy only 3-4 shares of VWCE somehow?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this Angelo! I recently closed my account due to the changes...But thanks to you I will re-open it!
ОтветитьThank you for the update. One question - are there any additional risks for investors in switching to CapTrader from IB? In TSG review it was clear that standard IB investor protection applies. Kinda missed that point in this review. Thanks.
ОтветитьBring more content about ETFs !!!!! Keep Going :) Congrats
ОтветитьHey Angelo, are there any benefits for stocks as well? I do have IB account and I'm planning to build dividend portfolio with stocks and ETFs. Thanks!
ОтветитьAre you able to buy fraction etf on Cap Trader?
ОтветитьNot sure if I got it right but this looks more expensive than Interactive Brokers in the end if you a monthly investing...
IB charges 1 dolar per ETF, so I can buy up to 10 ETF a month and still pay only 10 dolar overall as they deduct it from inactive fee.
If I buy 5 ETF at Cap Trader a month this is already 12 dollars...
Not sure if you looked this way, but you are paying more if you do at least 5 transactions a month at Cape Trader.... and if you do 4 a month this is just 35 cents cheaper than IB which in my opinion is not worth it for the service you get from IB.
On my Degiro account, if I want to invest €100 in a German or French stock, I need to make 8% before breaking even (2x€4 transaction fees). Meanwhile on a US exchange, with same amount, I only need 1% to break even. Where is the European solidarity from the pan-European broker Degiro? Why do they make it cheaper for me to invest across the Atlantic?! Granted if I have €1000 to invest in a single stock, the break even rate comes down quickly, but I'm not there yet. Is this Euronext/Deutsch Borse saying they don't want me, or Degiro's fault? I really wish the EU could encourage its citizens to keep their stock market investments closer to home. Thanks for your time :)
ОтветитьHey! Thanks for this update. Can you maybe tell me if I can switch to Cap Trader (like you explained in the video) if I have only 1000 euros on my Interactive Broker account?
Ответитьif i have a margin account and i deposit cash to it, will i be able to buy stocks long term with my money or it will always add margin to it ?
ОтветитьHuh I just commented on your TradeStatin video, asking why you bought a distributing ETF and in this one you bought an accumulating one 😆 Assuming it was a mistake in the previous video, what did you do to correct it or have you at all corrected it? I guess the only option is to sell and then buy the accumulating one, right? Thanks for your videos, very much needed for Europe 👌
ОтветитьSo you still recommend trade station global for uk residents?
ОтветитьEy Angelo, I like your content a lot! I want to ask you what do you think about fractional shares. For example if I want to use dollar-cost-averaging and the broker doesnt allow fractional shares, sometimes I would have to invest more or under 100USD to have for example 3 or 4 shars (number doesnt matter). I struggle with chosing my broker, T212 with fractional shares or Degiro without fractional shares.. What is your opinion?
ОтветитьAngelo thanks for the videos . As I am new to ETFS , INDEXES ETC I have a question. Do I have to open an account in interactive brokers and another one in captrader ? Or just in captrader? I want to invest long term . I live in Cyprus
ОтветитьHello Angelo, I opened account in CAPTrader and started investing in ETFs. now i see in my portfolio amount for Maintenance margin. i don’t understand why i have it since i am investing my own money and not using broker’s money. does this mean that 25% of my money will always be unusable? can you please explain about this?
ОтветитьDoes CapTrader charge a fee if I convert my account balance from EUR to USD? Can't find the info on the broker's website.
ОтветитьDoes it have as much stocks and tools as Interactive Brokers has?
ОтветитьCan you buy fractional shares with Captrader ??
I was a user of Trading212 till very recently, but their complete lack of proper support or tax report made me close the account. Looking for an alternative as I do not have enough capital to buy single shares of all the companies I believe in. Thanks
do you talk very fast, are you late for the bus?
ОтветитьHi Angelo,
Thanks for the video, very useful, as always.
I have a question in regards to TS: Is there a monthly inactivity fee for European investors once the subscription fee has been removed? If not, what are the advantages of switching to CapTrader?
Thank you for the insight.
Best,
Great video! is there the possibility to place recurring orders with Cap trader (Interactive broker)? thanks
ОтветитьSo, what's the advantage against Degiro for European investors?
ОтветитьHi, thanks for these great videos! I'm just starting out and I'm getting a lot out of them. I'm aiming to be a long term trader mostly putting money away for retirement. I have a question: I'm originally from New Zealand (English only) and am based in Finland; unfortunately Degiro seems to be only available in Finnish here and using google translate all the time seems quite tedious to constantly do. I tried opening an account by selecting Great Britain to get around this issue, but it then requires trades to be in GBP. I guess I could learn to deal with the Finnish but I'm afraid that as I get more competent, it will just hold me back from investing while dealing with translation issues - unfortunately I don't have a Finnish friend on call who I can easily ask.
In this case, would CapTrader be a better option for me? Also, I tried opening a CapTrader demo account to try and I was led to download the Trader Workstation application, which seems very old school, perhaps mostly for professional day traders and perhaps only for the interactive broker side of things (I still don't quite get how CapTrader and Interactive Brokers link). Should I be using Trader Workstation at all? Or do I have to invest the €2k before seeing if I want to use Captrader for real?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
Terrible service from them and wouldn't recommend.
I wanted to switch from IBKR or Degiro to them when i saw potential advantages compared to competitors... After long delays to answer questions for transfer, I made an application and to my surprised, it got rejected...
well ok maybe it can happen but reason given by their secretary support : "No reasons will be given for this"
Never had a single problem with all 4 other brokers i'm using.
Just wasted my time and refusing to give a motive for rejection. Just Terrible.
Thank you Angelo for sharing your journey in finances! I've been learning a lot from these. I am a Latin American (Argentina) residing in Poland, and due to my odd identity/locale status, some brokers are not available for me. I just checked creating an account in CapTrader - to create one (a "Live Account", as their website calls it?) it does not matter what your citizenship is, but just your Place of Residence, correct?
ОтветитьIs dollar cost averaging automated system available via interactive brokers?
ОтветитьI've found out about CapTrader "thanks" to you Angelo. I am feeling robbed of all exchange fees and other fees they charge. And the customer support is horrible.
ОтветитьHello Angelo, and everyone else, what do you think, is there a point in diversifying risk by using multiple brokers to buy the same ETF, or is it safe enough to use one broker that I consider safe (for example CapTrader)...asking as a person with no experience of investing into stocks/ETF
Ответитьif I start investing exclusively in USA based stocks (USD) and start with a lump sum of 2000 USD.... In this case, do IB have any fees compared to CapTrader?
Also how should I proceed adding USD funds to IB in my case: should I transfer the local currency I get paid in (Romanian LEI) from my local bank (ING) to Revolut > exchange from LEI to USD on Revolut > send USD from Revolut to IB ???
I guess I only need USD and not EUR, because I only plan on buying USA based stocks. Am I right?
Thank you, Angelo, for your Channel. After the Brexit changes, can a Brazilian resident use both the CapTrader and the TradeStation to buy ETF located in Ireland? Thanks.
ОтветитьCan we trade US ETFs with IB if younare european? I heard they are not allowing EU resident to trade US ETFs
ОтветитьHi Angelo. I have opened an account directly in IB. However I cannot trade any US ETFs as I am based in Europe and don't have permission do that, unfortunately. Can I buy US ETFs using Cap Trader, or there are any other solutions? Not sure, maybe I will need to switch to different broker (Degiro)? Thanks in advance!
ОтветитьHi, I just found your videos. I'm a newbie in the Stock market and I was struggling to find the right broker for me. I'm not a daily trader, I'm more a medium/long term, I live in Ireland, and I don't want to pay any Inactivity fee. At the moment I find myself with an account in Degiro and one in Interactive Brokers, but I haven't traded yet for 2 reasons. First, I can't trade fractions in Degiro, I want to be able to trade any Stock even if I don't have enough funds to pay a whole share. Second, I heard about this inactivity fee and that IB is more for daily traders, and I'm here to find out if it's true and finally try to find my broker with fraction shares and no inactivity fees. I appreciate your wise advice a lot. Cheers
ОтветитьNow that IBKR no longer has monthly fees, I suppose we no longer need a CapTrader account. Any idea how to transfer a CapTrader account directly to IBKR?
ОтветитьI have opened an interactive broker account already. Is it possible to switch to cap trade to avoid the inactivity fee? Thanks !
ОтветитьHi Angelo! I wanted to clarify what is the right order of opening accounts with brokers (for EU area). If I intend to open an account with Interactive Brokers, then should I open it and only then open the one with CapTrader or it is possible to have one with CapTrader only? Thank you for the very precious hints!
ОтветитьHi, I'm looking to get started with CapTrader & IB. Sorry for this newbie question - which do I sign up with first and how do I link them together? Also, are there any significant security related benefits for investing with IB/CapTrader? I'm looking to invest large amounts over long periods and am thinking Degiro will not be the best long term option in this regard. Thanks again!
ОтветитьIs it available to transfer back to IB?
ОтветитьHi , I am
Confused, do I need to open an account with both interactive brokers and cap traders to be able to use both or how?
Hello, thank you for the video. Short question about Interactive brokers: can I deposit money by one bank account and withdraw from another one? (just considering long term investments so, I may relocate or open other account) .Thanks
ОтветитьHello,
I hold shares in my portfolio of various ETFs with accumulation (IBKR platform).
Every day these ETFs generate different profit values (daily P&L).
Question: When the value displayed in the "unrealized P&L" column is equal to or greater than the value of a share of an ETF, does IBKR automatically buy a share on that ETF? Or do I have to track these values on a daily basis and manually buy a share / shares on that ETF that generated enough profit?
I would like you to provide me with more information about this process (whether it is automatic or manual).
Thank you in advance!
Is it possible to invest automatically on a monthly base?
