For the giada deck, that legendary saga from the LotR set that lets you search for two legendaries (and then get double strike) would be a pretty good card for that tutor slot. Cheaper and imo better effects than Thalia's lancer. Even if nothing else reaching the last chapter with a handful of big flying legendaries can kill someone easily.

Why not list the decks and tiers in the comment so we don't have to scroll through everything to find out what the results are?

Try Narset, Enlightened Exile at the helm of the Kykar deck. Literally just switch the two cards and give it a shot. She doesn't make tokens herself but the prowess triggers get crazy with the tokens. Charasmatic Conquerer and Nanogene Conversion would be good additions :)

I’ll die by everyone is playing bullies wrong, I built it as a good creature deck where I give people great creatures that want to be swung at others with cool triggers and effects while also being a toolbox deck to prevent naughty players from being naughty. Haze frog is the goat

I guess the main issue I see with you spell slinger decks, you have way way to much setup you gotta play way more draw.

Kykar, there are mass summon white cards that also board wipe. Sure you have to pump a lot of mana into them, but they can also be a win condition.

something i think would be a good idea for future episodes of this is maybe to have another person (josh, rachel, murph whoever) almost like an interview maybe just to help convorsation flow

Thanks Jimmy and the commandzone team for producing this video! Jimmy's deckbuilding philosophy really resonates with me, casting your stuff and trying to play a board in a certain thematical way. We dont win many games as a result, especially in tables with tons of interactions where our key pieces die and we cant really win the game easily with our game plan as well, because we're trying to get a certain theme off or its just too much overkill at that point, but boy oh boy does it feel good when you get an army of angels or dinosaurs or dragons or tokens on the battlefield!

My favorite of the lot is the Pako one and i'm definitely going to build it! Thanks for that one Jimmy!

I would consider adding more lands to every deck and adding kediss to neheb.

I often enjoy videos like this, it's always neat to see what other people are excited about, sometimes I end up liking the same thing (I love bad Stax decks so nobody likes what I like except the certifiable-but-not-so-crazy-they-can't-play-EDH demographic)! For me no deck is truly complete until it has an associated soundtrack, it's always fun when you can find a really good fit of song to deck.

What does the "S " stand for in the tiers list?
Also i think mudslide would be good in the Miiirym deck

I like these videos especially for new players to learn that building and playing commander decks (for most people) isn't all about winning or using the most powerful cards possible.
Notice how many times Jimmy talks about how fun a deck is to play rather than how much it wins as the reason he will keep it or not.

I did exactly what you’re talking about with your Angel deck. I had a Lyra Dawnbringer deck and converted it to a Halvar, God of Battle deck. (Flavor win having a God as a Commander of Angels. 😊) Anyway, I noticed I had a bunch of cool Swords in a binder and made an equipment deck with mostly Angels for creatures. Other flavor wins are Brass Squire and Sram, Senior Edificer. A couple of non-Angels I use are Stoneforge Mystic and Phyrexian Vindicator. The card that I always want to see in my opening hand is Sigarda’s Aid. For a mono-white deck, it’s a ton of fun to play.

Having to slim down the decks I have myself. It's so painful. I feel you mad. One of my new favorite Henzue "toolbox"Torre is awesome, but glissa the traitor well never be dissembled.

Great episode Jimmy!!! I'm actually going to attempt a version of your Beamtown Bullies deck :) I used to run a Blim, Comedic Genius and many of these cards will fit into this deck. I still run Inniaz, the Gale Force for more donation fun times in Azorius.

I think you should look at The Lost and the Damned and Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald for possible inclusion in Pako & Haldan. With the amount of lands and spells you'll play from exile, you could accrue a lot of value off of these.

Neheb doesn't work with Lithoform since it is a mana abilities and you cannot respond to them. You cannot Stifle Neheb's ability, so you must remove him to not get the mana.
