so the story was a bit longer with that Henry in love plot...
now that out of no where apperance of the girl makes a bit more sense
i can see it was cut for time, or budget, cause i can imagine it would be already expensive to animate 7 minutes of such nice animation

The scene where Katrina takes off her clothes to reveal that she's wearing an engineers outfit underneath is so badass!

I would've probably liked a combination of the original vs the final product specifically the interactions of Linus and Samson. Though worth noting the part where Linus almost goes to train heaven would be kepted cause technically he exploded.

Also this gives lore to the logging engines. They used to have tenders but it seems they were removed for whatever reason for logging

Samson have a huge pipe to his tender

Now those cues from Tchaikovaky Romeo and Juliette makes sence

I can see why some of these parts were left out, the final product is more straight to the point and subtle. I still enjoyed this version though.
