Chain wax - the best thing you will ever do for your drivetrain!

We took a while to decide on which wax we wanted to offer on our premium new builds and services. In the end we chose Rex Wax Black Diamond.

It's tricky to source (only shipping direct from Finland), but after we saw data from Zero Friction Cycling showing Rex's durability, we knew we had to have in the workshop.

Rex is also the only brand to offer mutple wax blend options. 4+1 (that's 4 white parrafin blocks and 1 additive block) is the ultimate slippery dry weather wax. The 11+1 blend is an all year round option with great longevity in extreme conditions.

Here we show you the steps in our chain waxing process, including multi step chain cleaning and preparation, followed by the wax immersion and finally installation on our latest ENVE Melee build.
