My mom used to pull my long beautiful hair saying she hated my hair! Why did she make me hate my hair? She didn t care when she had the barber chop it all off. I screamed and cried as he cut my blonde rinets she gave me when she put rags in my hair. This is why we have homeless gals who throw their cares to the wind as their Ringlets were torn out of their heads. Why is it when there s one daughter that she gets pampered but the big families who have girls don t get that affection. We were poor people with eight kids. My dad could barely keep us fed and clothed with hand-me- - downs. Is there anyone out there who feel like me?

My folks didn't t have enough water for us to have cleanbath tub water as we had to share well water with dad s RR worker who lived adjacent to us? We had to pump 1 5 gallon bucket full that I had to pump out of the ground.! Yes I felt shirt changed and gypped out of being clean just on Sunday on Saturday night bath night. Some people get it all. We had 8 kids and all of us were from one set of parents only not like today's step sisters and brothers as we were special in that way. I m glad they re full sisters and brothers. My folks toyghed it out with mom as a homemaker and had to milk our two cows plus she raised chickens for our breakfast table to eat our own pings dad and the neighbor butchered. We had great parents. We made it out of the 50s and 60 s with mom s inheritance when her parents died when her 12 brothers and one other sister split up the sale iof the land. We had because our folks saved and didn't drink or smoke a lot . I m here safe and sound even if we went barefoot like the hillbillies in Virginia. We re from Iowa and had fun when we were living by railroad tracks all of our lives till the 60 s . We bought a 2 Acres plot in Cedar Rapids,Iowa. We finally all worked for our own clothes by working. The moneu she inherited went to buying our 3 bedroom home and out beautiful Prairie field where our animals were raised. I had to work with my brothers to keep it up. We did it all! 😭😂😘
