I'm from Ukraine and had been listening to Lex before he made his views clear. Once you actually understand the subject matter, it becomes painfully obvious how little he knows. A nepo baby who constantly ties himself to MIT despite never having studied there. Let's just say I'm a former viewer after everything that's come out. He either naively tried to interview Zelensky in Russian - which is like interviewing Polish people during WWII in German - or he’s deliberately projecting power as a Russian asset. He seems to see nothing wrong with Russians occupying our country, likely because he’s the son of an immigrant and romanticizes the USSR as something noble or good. But modern Russia, in many ways, is worse than the USSR. It has no principles, no cohesive vision or ideology to unite people. Lex never grasped why we want to ditch the russian identity and everything it represents. Just ask the Finns. Or Czechs. Or Poles. People who live near Russia do understand what it really is. I won't even get into how we're treated by Russians in the territories they occupy - simply for being Ukranians. You can read about it elsewhere, since any real detail here would likely get this comment banned.
