Great explanation
ОтветитьGreat loop knot, superb instruction, perfect storyboard and wonderfully photographed. A lesson for all those that want to teach with narrated video, or teach anything! EXCELLENT.
ОтветитьThank you for showing what you mean by passing it through the first knot the right way and the wrong way with an edit. I always never understood that part.
ОтветитьMuch thanks. Making stops on the video helps you to get it clearly, precisely. Great knot there.👍💪 Fish be with you🙂. Fish on!
ОтветитьIts the rappala Knot ☝️👍🙋♂️
ОтветитьThat’s a Clouser Minnow. Originally developed for Stripers flyfishing in saltwater.
ОтветитьThanks man
ОтветитьU could put a small split ring on the end to attach different flies
ОтветитьI'm going to try this knot on a suspending jurk bait for salmon fishing. Thanks for the great video! FISH ON 🎣
ОтветитьGreat video. Very helpful.
ОтветитьThis is the best description of this knot ever, good job!
ОтветитьAnother amazing video! Your in depth details were easy to follow. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhy knot (pun) just use a bowline knot??
Ответитьvery good video but for me is the same Rapala knot just one step less............
ОтветитьClear, detailed demonstration how to tie non slip loop knot, for both fly fishing lures and regular lures. I have used this knot many years for fly fishing and it has never slipped. Lures have better action. Make sure the loop is small and close to the hook eye or the lure will get hung up in the loop.
ОтветитьGreat video. But a question: if you use up 6" of tippet, and change flies a few times, seems like you're going to need to replace your tippet much more often, right? I get that it might still be worth it, but just wondering.
ОтветитьExcellent, thanks much!
ОтветитьGreat movie ... helped med a lot > Thanks from Denmark.
ОтветитьThx for this demo it’s been the best and simplistic to follow in comparison to other videos …thank you!
Ответить👌
ОтветитьBowline knot
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this.

ОтветитьThe comment about green weenies 😂
Ответитьyou are an amazing teacher!
ОтветитьNicely done.
ОтветитьIn this case, we have to carry extra mono or flo. line whenever we need to replace the fly..as each time the leader will become shorter..yes???... Thank you..
ОтветитьGreat video. I’ve been told many times I should be using this knot for streamers but to be honest I just can’t live with the amount of leader wasted per tie. There’s got to be a way to tie this without wasting several inches every time.
ОтветитьThanks man
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьVery nice videos. I just subscribed!
ОтветитьIs it just me or did that fly look a lot like that little bug-eyed rat looking thing in the animated movie Ice Age?
Ответитьtypical SUPERB tightline video. Thanks so much!
ОтветитьI’ve always used loop knot. I personally don’t see the reason for the extra step
ОтветитьAnother awesome and helpful video by 1 of the best fly fishing channels out there, thank you Tim Flagler.
ОтветитьIt's a great knot but really burns through leader material.
ОтветитьGreat demo we'll done
ОтветитьNo shame in da green weenie!😂
ОтветитьVery clear explanation... 👌🏻🎣... thankyou
ОтветитьThat’s a very stupid knot! You will break off more with that knot because your baits action will wear the string down and end up weakening the line causing it to break.
ОтветитьI am using 80LB (36.2KG) 0.8mm This knot isn't non slip, the last twisting wont tighten.
ОтветитьI've watched this video hundreds of times. I always snicker when he comments about all his teenie-weenies in his tackle box.
ОтветитьGood knot some time I may use that
ОтветитьVery clearly described every step
ОтветитьI break these off easily when snagging or pulling on vegetation. I wet the line before synching down the knot. Not sure if just me? Other knots seems to hold up aa little better, but don’t have the good movement of this knot.
ОтветитьGreat video but a pain in the ass to tie a 4 lb or 6 lb tippet on the lure.....
ОтветитьThe green weenies 🤣🤣 nice touch
ОтветитьVideo yang sangat bagus👍
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks! Works great on mop flies too! 😅
ОтветитьThank you. Very clear explanation, help with avoiding errors, and clear visuals.
