Have just realised from watching this that I'm not the only person that takes ages to make sure the tyres are perfectly aligned on the wheels! Enjoyed it. Very informative as usual.

I don't think this is the second technic telehandler. I have a little yellow one with only one function: raising and lowering the boom. But still nice review!

the old telehandler was my first technic set, I love it still. I just might have to get this set to compliment it.

Wątpiłem się czy kupować ten set, ale teraz myślę że tak. Review jest dobre, ale oceny zaniżony. Myszle że ten set jest najlepszy z małych w 2017. Wygląda on dobrze (stary 8283 wygląda jak traktor). Tez nowy pin connector jest bardzo dobry dla buildable figures. Nowy worm nie bardzo potrzebny. Dzięki za review.

Considering the impressive steering and the fact that there is a actuator in the set makes this a very nice one in my eyes.

I love how you've "roasted" at least 30 people in the comments section hahaha. This is a pretty nice model I must say, a good selection of parts are used so a good donor set I recon too.

the bucket you used for comparing to the new one is not from the 42054 set, but from the 42055 bucket wheel excavator.

Say, what kind of gear ratio do we get from that new 1L worm gear? Same as the old one, 1 turn to the equivalent of 1 tooth?

I can understand why you're skipping the B-model of this cos we've seen that particular model already really in the 42031's B-model (which while much smaller and with less functions, does practically the same thing) and possibly in other past sets.

As for the A-model, it seems pretty cool for the parts and functions it has; possibly my favourite of the smaller sets. It reminds me of 42032's A-model in a way as they're both function over form but they nail the former aspect down very well.

Looking forward to seeing and finding out your thoughts on the other sets, which seems a bit of a mixed bag this time; another interesting note is that a £7.99 bottom rung Technic set seems to have been finally dropped this time...

For $25 it has a newer boom arm, linear actuator, short worm gear, and new tires.

I liked the fact it has the new lifting piston system now which uses the gearing instead of the old phumatic air based pistons which I disliked because of the amount of pumping needed to do a small movement? I think this would be in need of some new style electric control motors linked to the movement of the arm etc.?

I must say that this is the 2nd time only that lego has done a machine which is a farming use one? They are used more on farms than in building! The only other farm related set is of the big claas 5000 tractor? Shame they did not do a good detailed new holland combine too just so there be 3 machines used in farming to build?

One small thought sir, you do great review lego set videos.. think about setting your camcorder to manual focus and not use the auto focus as it keeps blurring the view as it keeps adjusting focus as your hands move to build? :) just a idea?

Insane that this set costs $50 CAD

Do you consider this set overpriced? It only has 260 pieces without any pf/pneumatic parts yet has a price tag of $40 USD. Other 2017 sets, for example 42060 has 365 pieces but it is only $30 USD.

most of Lego technic sets of this year 2017 are just really good updated sets from previous years.

I called lego and asked them how to get sets in exchange for reviews and they said, "We can't do this for you, but you can consider purchasing the sets yourself." Sariel, did they literally just email you one day and ask, "Do you want to receive sets for review" or what?

I wonder whether Lego got the price wrong. This set has less pieces than 42060, so it make sense to be $24.99 as you pointed out. However, at retail, it's $39.99 instead. I am debating between this and 42060, mainly because 42060 is cheaper with more pieces, but this one functions better.

i really love this steering system, it's pretty useful for this kinda tiny models, cause the backlash would be to high in bigger models & also it's easier to put it in those small accurate models :)

Sorry, but doesn't it destroy the actuator when you force it? I do not see how the actuator can be forced without it being destroyed.

Anyway, this telehandler is sure to be able to lift little Lego pieces, which is enough, I think. The way it is steered is awesome!

I absolutely LOVE these machines!!! Though we call them Lulls (manufacturer of one) in my city. And ours always have forks on them. I'll definitely have to find a set
