As an OU fan, all I can say is that I feel your pain. OU's offense has been a big steaming pile of dog poo all year. This is the worst offense they have had since the 90's. Great programs such as Oklahoma and Alabama have great athletes, and no matter how bad the season has been, if all of those athletes for any particular team hit on all cylinders while the other team misfiring, that other team is in trouble. I think that is what partly happened here. I have heard all of the complaints directed toward Alabama coaches and Milroe, and it sounds exactly like what many of our fans has said about OU and our quarterbacks. I won't comment on Alabama coaching because I'm not a follower of Alabama, but I will comment slightly on the team based on what I saw in this game compared to what I have seen in the past. It appears to me that too much burden is put on Milroe. When I saw that he is your rushing leader I was quite surprised. It is highly unusual for a quarterback to be the rushing leader, and while watching this game to me it was obvious that the offense doesn't use all of its weapons, and makes it too easy to key on one player. I would resist the calls to bench Milroe because I think he is a competent quarterback. It appears though that however goes Milroe, goes the team with how he is currently used. One comment about coaching. I believe Saban to be the greatest college coach ever and I think it will be nearly impossible for Alabama to be as good as they were under Saban.

Smoke I realized a long time ago bro. It's a lot of non athletes believe they know more than guys that actually played and know how difficult this game of football is. They don't believe offensive linemen and defensive linemen is important for skill players.

I hope Milroe sit out this game and let Ty play. He should rest, stay healthy, get ready for the NFL or transfer to another school to win the Heisman some where else. I don't want to hear anything about blocking once Ty starts. Give him the same treatment you give Milroe. If Milroe wasn't starting, Alabama would have lost at least 3 or 4 more games.

Why would someone say Milroe has poor pocket presence or he can't read when, He doesn't really have time. Do they know Alabama's offensive line have graded terribly low all season. Did they watch Oklahoma beat our offensive tackles? No quarterback could've with stood that punishment. If Milroe had not played, Alabama wouldn't have been in the playoffs last season and would have lost 3 to 4 other games.

Stop with the excuses for milroe. He isn’t good to win a championship. This offense is centered towards milroes strengths and last year’s. He’s on his 3rd OC and hasn’t made much progress. This offense is big play or qb runs. What was it last year, big plays and qb runs. You can’t keep saying the OC needs to do this and that. They are and this is the product because milroe doesn’t offer much. He looks the same as the first game when he came in for Bryce. This isn’t the offense Deboer runs and so they’re running only what milroe can do. We’ve had 3 different OCs and they still can’t mesh. Milroe is the problem. We won 5 natties with pass first/game manager QBs. 2 with aj macaron, Jake Coker, Mac jones and Tua.

We have Emmanuel Henderson, Kendrick law, Bernard, cj dippre, Cuevas, prentice, miller, and Haynes. Yet we can’t spread the ball out to all those guys? Those guys are good enough if someone gets them the ball. I guarantee we would be much better if we had a qb who could distribute the ball to the play makers. But we can’t because if you take milroes runs away and only have him pass. He’s an average qb. This offense is predictable with milroe because he doesn’t have that big of an arsenal. People need stop making excuses for him. Every single time we face adversity he looks scared and shock. Go back to Vanderbilt, Tennessee, South Carolina, and yesterday. You can see it in his face he’s shocked and not the guy to rely on. He’s a great kid but not a great qb or leader on the field.

They are good enough to win with this roster. Saban left Deboer a great roster to play with and under delivered. You also put Ty Simpson in for a spark. Nothings working on the field and it starts with the qb. If he’s not put Ty in. It can’t be worse than what was shown. Who knows maybe he get some plays going and gets the guys pumped to keep the momentum going. We seen it a lot of games. But the fact Deboer didn’t do anything to fix it is bad. So my thoughts on this.... if you pull Jalen out in that game if even for a couple of series so Jalen can get his mind right and put in Ty Simpson or Mack. It shows the rest of the players that the coach is not messing around and they need to get their heads right. meaning that no one is safe out there if you are not ready to play. Now i also think Nick Sheridan needs to go away from this play book that utilizes Milroe's legs. Let your running backs run the ball and the time Jalen needs to run is when he needs to scramble out of a pass play to gain yards. we have got to stop being predictable. One huge glaring one to me was on a 3rd and 10. Oklahoma had the box stacked with 9 players up on the line of scrimmage and we run a freaking QB counter draw play. Like what is that bull crap. Dont get me started on Kane Wommack. Literally had a defensive lineman standing up floating around most of the night when they were running it down our throat. Like get the man down on the line and play 4 down lineman and 3 backers. it aint rocket science.

I think we could have the best running back duo in the country but we dont utilize them because we want everything to revolve around Jalen. I've stopped watching so many of these Bama podcasts, the second it sounds like someone critics Milroe negatively... someone else comes to the rescue. If he's a good qb stop talking about catering to his skillset.. he's supposed to be a QB!!! When a QBs main skillset is running the ball, you're in trouble

That showed me a lot.. Offensive line and defensive line, where were you tonight?? They ran the same running play for 250 yrds!! Jalen had no time to do much, his run plays were blown up because OU knew it was coming.. Not hard to defense this offense , and Venables kicked our ass!

Milroe has been one of the best efficient QBs throwing the football in all areas of the field this season. I tell everybody this offensive style that OC is calling depends heavily on the play of the oline. The Oline have to give Milroe atleast 4 secs to give the receivers time to develop these crossing mesh; hi lo, dig route combinations. I’ve seen a lot of times where the receiver wasn’t in the right spots and a lot of times dropped open passes. 2 deep TDs were dropped in the LSU game. One was dropped by Odom last week at Mercer; first half of the Oklahoma game Milroe was 2/7 with 5 drops from the receivers that were blatantly accurate throws from Milroe. With a TD called back in the first Qtr. The Offense as a whole was not consistent in helping him be successful this year. He can’t block for himself; he can’t call the plays; he can’t catch his own balls. Like make it make sense. Any other team would love to have him as their starting QB and we just over here blaming him for everything when it’s so many inconsistencies around him. I could see if everybody were doing their job at a high level consistently and he just absolutely sucked; but that is not the case. It’s Everybody from top to bottom. The game of football is won in the trenches rather its defense or offense. Win both and you’re gonna win the game. Lose both and you’re going to lose the game. And that’s what happened in these 3 losses. Vandy, defense lost in the trenches - loss, Tenn, offense lost in the trenches and Def lost in the 2nd half - loss; SC we slightly won the battle in the trenches and we won the game. LSU we won in the trenches on both sides of the ball - blowout. Mizzou we won on both sides of the trenches - blowout. GA we won on both sides of the trenches - won. Oklahoma offense and defense lost in the trenches - shutout loss. Even Tyler Booker admitted this in his interview this morning “we had open receivers but we didn’t give our QB time to throw the ball.” That’s what he said after watching film with the team on Sunday. So all this Milroe ain’t a QB is crazy. All the throws this man done made that majority of QBs wish they could make, makes it disrespectful to say he ain’t a QB when his stats clearly show otherwise. All the hits he’s been taking on designed runs plus the hits from the oline not handling business takes a toll on a QB mental and body. 15-20 hits from running the football plus 10-15 hits from just dropping back as a QB is crazy work. You can tell on the tackle he took from Oklahoma in the 4th qtr this dude is hurting and being a warrior for this university and we shit on him every time his team didn’t play at a high standard and he take it to the chin every time for his brothers in the locker room. We gots to do better. Ewers played bad and their fan base stood behind him; Beck played a lot of bad football and their fan base stood behind him. Sellers played bad a few times and their fan base stood behind him. Can’t say the same about us.l and that’s sad when Milroe has a double digit Winning record as a starting QB who won the SEC championship and was 1 play shy from being in the Natty last year with the worst center in the history of football.
