As a Tennessee resident I will be very much looking forward to the outbreak of 2020 especially if you talk about the Clarksville tornado that was rated an EF4 but had damage of EF5 would be awesome if you did a video about the forgotten F5 in Tennessee as well
Ответитьblack earth as a town name is not crazy when you grew up in that area. that is what the dirt looks like there. grew up in SW mn, the dirt there, and throughout that area literally looks BLACK. that is why we have so many areas labeled BLACK EARTH.
ОтветитьDefinitely not me having a really bad fear of storms due to trauma and watching this video
ОтветитьNighttime tornadoes are terrifying... I recently had to do some humanitarian aid for a nighttime tornado in my area. Literally a couple miles from my house. Homes were flattened.
ОтветитьI was in that 2015 Rowlett Texas tornado, it took out half of my neighborhood and was so close to taking out mine. Very scary and the damage to my community was heartbreaking and it took so many years to rebuild everything. Moved out of state before it was done
ОтветитьIf you want a good place to see tornado damage on Google maps, look at Smithville, MS before and after 2011. It’s a really small town that got hit by an EF5 during the 2011 super outbreak (it’s also my hometown!)
ОтветитьIve only encountered 2 tornadoes in my life. Both of them very close to me, both of the also being nocturnal tornadoes. My luck is so bad but also so good at the same time😭
ОтветитьI’m moving to Memphis soon and I’ve been warning my mom about the nocturnal tornadoes that occur down there. In her words, she says “We don’t need to worry about that! Theres hills and tornadoes can’t go over them. We’ll be finnneee!”. But luckily for me, even if a tornado occurs, I have a plan mapped out.
ОтветитьMy mama always told me that these are the ones that are the most dangerous.
Ответитьboring video
ОтветитьAdd November 3rd, 2024 OKC Nocturnal Tornado outbreak to the list... that could have been apocalyptic more than it was horrific enough. The NWS being understaffed that night too is crazy unluckiness
ОтветитьNo sirens where I live. And over the past few years almost every tornado that's come close has been at night. I hardly sleep during some months of the year. NETX in case you're wondering
ОтветитьWell excuse me night tornados 🌪 that's a new fear unlocked
Ответитьimagine that, but when lightning strikes outside, the tornado looks like a swirly candy, and it's wide.
ОтветитьGiven how rare ball lightning is and mysterious it's behavior. I think the light in the funnel was a trapped ball lightining and given that seeing behavior in the center of powerful tornadoes could have a strange and strong effect on the understandings of EM science. Or a strong circulation of the funnel caught enough ionized gases to create a light in the middle of the storm.
ОтветитьMy only fear is being in a tornado at night 😬
ОтветитьI live in oklahoma and yesterday or the day before the tornado sirens went off while it was dark but thankfully my mom was up to get me and my brother awake so we could get in the safe spot it was definitely more scary then it happening in the day.
ОтветитьA nighttime tornado hit my home town recently, only an EF3, but while fixing houses and stuff, it was crazy. You never truly see all the damage until you see it in person..
ОтветитьThe worst part about living in Tennessee is the nocturnal tornadoes. We rarely ever get them during the day.
Ответитьyou posted this and a few days later i was up all night in my safe spot cause of tornados LOL
ОтветитьI was there for the Georgia tornado he showed in the start I think. It was an EF4 that happened around midnight, it hit my town and destroyed a high school. Thankfully nobody died
ОтветитьI'm from the Mobile area in South Alabama and our tornado seasons are so anxiety inducing. It's always at night when the squall lines come through and we are surrounded by trees so there is no seeing it even with lightning as a backdrop. You just get to the bathroom and wait it out. Or if you're like my husband, just go back to sleep. 😅
ОтветитьWe also can't forget about the infamous Mayfield KY tornado.
ОтветитьMan, I didn't realize that the Night of the Twisters movie was actually realistic. My first time watching it was on a VHS tape this year and I thought it was way overexaggerated, but I guess not.
ОтветитьThe Blackwell OK F5 was probably just another example of UFO hysteria. That was a big thing around that time period.
ОтветитьAny chance we can get a video covering the recent Florida Tornado outbreak during Hurricane Milton?
ОтветитьImagine waking up, getting ready, going to school. and theres a de constructed house right beside You. Id be ao confused
ОтветитьI was around when the Evansville tornado happened. I praised Wayne Hart for his courage through the event and even though lives were lost, he saved a lot of people in the process

ОтветитьA tornado hit my hometown back in the 1980s. It was an F4 if I’m remembering it right. It was before my time, however it destroyed an old district that was a pretty decent part of the city. But since that tornado, the district it destroyed has become a nasty gang affiliated area. Lots of Somalians, and Natives fighting over the area.
ОтветитьDidn't the Tri-State Tornado happen at night too?
ОтветитьOklahoma citizen here.
Just a few days ago. I got woken up at 4:30am with my phone going off like 3 times.
What fully woke me up was the siren going off.
Just imagine you go to bed, totally ignorant to what's going to wake you up in a half asleep state, only to immediately have to kick in ur survival mode.
Luckily, nothing hit us, but just being woken up to have to take immediate action or you die....
Regular people: EVACUATE
Me being a huge anime fan of jjba: WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
We had a nighttime tornado hit near our lake house (our lake “house” is just a mobile home in the middle of the woods) in northern Arkansas over Memorial Day weekend. After a night of drinking and partying, we woke up at 4:30AM to a tornado warning. I looked outside and it looked like the opening scene of the original Twister movie with just crazy wind and non stop lightning. Checked the radar and pulled up Max Velocity’s live stream who was still streaming then and it was coming right at us. The warning came so last minute that we had no choice but to hunker down in our bathroom and throw a mattress on top of us and pray it didn’t hit us or a tree didn’t fall on us. Luckily it missed us to the north by about 200-300 yards and a tree came down on our front porch, about 5 ft from where we were in our bathroom. We had some family staying in a small cabin a few miles west of us that took shelter in their bathroom as well and after the storm passed they were nearly stuck in the bathroom cuz the roof got ripped off in their bedroom and living room. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend
ОтветитьMe watching this while sitting in a tornado warning in OK. 🍿
ОтветитьI lived through that 1998 event in central Florida; because of that to this day I can’t/wont/don’t sleep when there’s severe weather overnight.
Also not that it matters but justttt in case you ever need to pronounce it again
It’s like Kuh-SIM-mee

Most experts think the strange lights in the blackwell tornado may have been St. Elmo's fire.
ОтветитьLooking forward to the full 2020 Nashville/Cookeville video. I know a lot of people had slept through those being from 12 to 2 AM.
ОтветитьThose tornado warning sirens remind me of the Cold War.
ОтветитьNight time tornadoes and rain wrapped tornadoes. Two of the most dangerous types of tornadoes. And they're so dangerous for the same reason. Because you don't see, most of the time until it's too late.
Ответитьthis feels funny to watch after having 2 unexpected tornadoes
ОтветитьThat glowing tornado, I’ve heard legends from around the world about glowing clouds, makes me wonder if the same phenomenon just so happened to form into a tornado
ОтветитьIts December for me and I live nowhere near dixie alley but at 5 it looks like it’s 9
ОтветитьThis was happening last night I'm from Oklahoma
