How To Translate WhatsApp Messages On iPhone

If you have IPhone XR this sequence doesn’t seem to have any of these prompts. Is phone too old

this has never worked for me. I try to download language and it says 'Translation is unavailable at the moment. Try again at a later time.'

that workflow ends up being more work than copying and pasting into google translate and pasting back the response from there - google translate has those icons that make copying much easier than the internal WhatsApp/iPhone solution - they need to make it easier somehow

toooo many presses! faster to switch to safari google translate, voice to text into the box, and hit one button , copy! go back to whatsapp and paste!

WhatsApp doesnt allow me to copy texts from other people

It’s rubbish and should be a lot easier.
