Kind of the perfect one to clise though it probably blends right into the natural wilderness and the animals probably love it..

I remember going here in '88... I loved the slides lol... it was my first time at Disneyworld... I went to Epcot and seen Michael Jackson's Captain EO... The Magic Kingdom... The memories 😍

They abandoned river country because those shit heads didn't check the water and it killed a 8 year old boy

Hi, i am from 2020 and now the River Country is CLOSED and abandoned, it's Scary and ugly now.

Hay everyone yes it’s me Luna dog I have been to Disney and I have seen a ride that looked like river. Country and the ride that i went on that look like this is still here!

I don't necessarily care about who narrates, as long as I know what they are talking about and can understand them, which applies to this video.

I went to River Country in 1997 - I thought it was a good water park

They are dreading the park right now as it shows on google maps. Everything is wipe out and looks likes it’s bare sand. It’s going to be a water park again by the looks of the bundles of blue pipe laying all over again.

Making it higher also prevented gators from entering and getting guests, that would be bad press.

Basically River Country died because of Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach

Update: Everything left from River Country has now been demolished for a new resort to be constructed.

It wasn't located at fort wilderness Lodge it was located on fort wilderness campground. Fort wilderness Lodge didn't come till decades later and it wasn't even close to it.

As this is Florida, wasn’t there a concern about alligators being in the water?

Honestly, it’s a shame River Country closed, but it seemed to be for the best, especially with that brain-eating amoeba being a problem.

Wasn't this water park in a better location being closer to MK, why not rebuild the water park in the same location and make it bigger to accommodate more quests?

They had the right idea with the chlorinated pool but the bigger one with fresh filtered water… big mistake… how many people and their germs 🦠 swim in there… kids pee🤢… what was their cleaning protocol? Yikes 😬
