I like how you mentioned that you feel proud of them. I see a lot of people say that in the comments to their videos. I felt that way when I first found them 5 or 6 months ago, even before I saw videos of them playing as children. Anyway, this song is a big f-u to record labels who were willing to sign them but only if they would make changes that they weren’t willing to make. They were eventually signed by a company (Lava) who allowed them to retain creative control of their music. They showed other artists that you don’t have to sell yourself out to get signed and it is possible to succeed while maintaining your artistic integrity. Hence, they aren’t in danger, they’re the danger!

I’m so glad you recognized the Breaking Bad reference, I’ve been watching 100’s of reactions to this song and no one, no one has recognized the Walter White (Heisenberg) quote. It’s funny you’d think more people would recognize it because the show was so popular. I recognized it the first time I heard the song, lol. I once asked in the comments if any of the Warning Army knew if the girls were fans of the show, one person said they didn’t watch the show. I think it’s too much of a coincidence myself, but who knows, right. As far as the song goes it’s one of my favorite Warning songs, it’s incredible Rock & Roll.

As a fan of The Warning, I get the pride thing. We all suffer! But I just wanted to say as much as anything I noticed on your first reaction to them, how you slapped down someone for being sexist and objectifying the girls. And it wasnt a considered opinion, it was instant and straight off the bat. We dont hear enough of that from most people, and its good to hear. Now I learn you have 2 daughters: clearly you "get it" and are doing your daughters proud.

The Warning will never block your reaction. They post video for people to watch and review. The drummer wrote that lyric: "I'm not in danger, I'm the danger." Dany the guitar player had the music to the song and Pau the drummer says, "Let me write something to go with that rift."

These young ladies have shown the entire music world how to not make a bad song because every one of their original songs are great. They are this generations Beatles only they are better because the fab four wrote some songs that were up to snuff and sucked. These ladies do not know the meaning of a bad song.

Well to me a hit song does not mean they have to hit the charts well if making the charts is a measure of having a hit well then they have made because they have hit the BIG TIME with a BILLBOARD Top 10 which is a good thing, but I do not measure if a band has made it by making the charts but by how good they are at putting out one great song after another and these young women of THE WARNING have done that time and time again and I do not see them not putting out a song that is as good or better than the ones that came before.

Pride is a commonly evoked emotion when it comes to 'The Warning'. They also bring hope to the world of rock music. Along with Band Maid and other bands seemingly popping up from nowhere we are seeing the rebirth of a genre that was fast becoming the preserve of dinosaurs, both played by and listened by. And these bands answer the question 'do women belong in rock music'.

Hey AR! You are right, they are meant to do this! I have seen them live 5 times and I can tell you, it's like watching fish swim or birds fly. It's what they are born to do! Not only do they sound better live than in the studio, the first thing you notice is how easy they make it look! Future Legends!

I saw Skillet live back in March '24 when I was at Knotfest in Melbourne Australia. Skillet was fantaistic. In al 12 bands, 12 hours, it was amazing lineup too! Last 3 were Halestorm, Disturbed, and Pantera. THAT was a metal festival.
