The main point of interest I always see with Asura, is that he can revive by himself without relying in the Dragon Balls, just by climbing out of hell with his own hands. Even if this takes thousands of years (or just hundreds, the second time), he can do it multiple times, and with his undying determination and rage, he could very well come back an infinite amount of times. I'm not so big a nerd of DB so I'm not sure if Broly could do the same, but assuming he couldn't, then the real answer is that Broly would need to win every single time for it to count... Asura would only need to win once, and it'd be over. Given an infinite amount of tries and an infinite scaling power growth, it'd end up happening at some point or another.

Asura’s mantra comes from his necessity for wrath. The more rage he has the stronger he gets. We see DBS Broly has a limit to his rage, meanwhile Asura’s growth in mantra is limitless as long as his rage is constantly provoked by sadness, trauma, and stakes. The way I see this battle going, is Asura just barely solos all except heroes broly, however I suspect that if dbs Broly were cruel enough to kill Asura’s daughter that he would lose his wrath and be defeated with ease.

Ok, if we're going to bring up Heroes Broly, then we should also scale Asura to Ryu and Akuma. Keep in mind these are the crossover variants of the characters, which are much stronger than their regular Street Fighter appearances. Crossover Ryu/Akuma has fought characters like Galactus and the rest of the MVC Roster. This would include characters like Vergil who is so fast he can still move after Dante freezes time with Quicksilver in DMC3.

It's a pretty huge feat because apparently, the Prison Planet arc takes place in the future, which means he flew back to the past to reach the Grand Priest's realm. Also, the source for Charisma World Goku traveling through all dimensions with the Charisma Avatar is from June 2014 v-jump.
