In other countries this would not be tolerated... But in Russia the people have
no say in what their govt does or doesn't do... The result is a 100 year culture
of neglect, corruption, indifference, resignation and hopelessness.
The Russian people have been programmed to do 2 opposing contradictory
things...
1: Be staunchly patriotic about their country regardless of the corruption
and crumbling infrastructure
2: Turn a blind eye to the corruption and incompetence and dilapidation of
public facilities and never raise their voice against their thug-police state
out of fear.
