Especially smaller companies have a hard time to find the right talent. And avoiding hiring “B”-level employees or “C”-level people. Because “B”-level, or mediocre people, will tend to hire “C”-level programmers (can also be called “low performers”).
“A”-level developers on the other hand will tend to recommend other “A”-people into the company.
So focus on taking only “A” people in the beginning.
It is also always better to take on programmers who are team players, instead of one’s who are good at developing but are not willing to communicate and share knowledge with the team members.
