American school are good well some of them
ОтветитьSO BEAUTIFUL ❤
ОтветитьI would continue with the home schooling. My step daughter goes to school at about 6.45am and gets home when it's dark. She often goes on weekends because they are practicing for one thing or another. They don't seem to show much emphasis on actually learning anything useful. The education system here lacks well behind world standards. Just have a look where they sit in the world. Somewhere near the bottom. I always read her test results. They mark her wrong when she is right. The other day they said a crab was not a crustacean. They said it has to be a blue crab to be a crustacean. One of her teachers told her the sun revolves around the earth. Crazy.
ОтветитьBrianna is one smart cookie... keep up the good work. She has nothing to worry about...
ОтветитьI bet she’s excited. She’ll make new friends.
ОтветитьGood luck on your 1st day at school!❤😊
Ответитьwow conratulations
Ответитьglad john is coming home, Brinna will do well. Congratulations On your first day!
ОтветитьGood Luck Brianna.
What airline was John flying?
I've been in education for 40 years, public and private, never seen such a ridiculous list of things that the student is required to supply for the school. I'm happy for Briana, she's right, she needs to be with others her age, but I would keep looking.
ОтветитьHow exciting!!
ОтветитьIn my experience, I have always been able to book my own flights, cheaper and with a better itinerary than a travel agent. Case in point - the travel agency in Robinsons wanted $200 more for the exact same itinerary that I booked myself.
Your daughter is a very bright young lady, and I think at this stage enrolling her in school is a good idea.
Congratulations Briana 🎉
ОтветитьI liked the “Mom! Can I go to school” skit 😂
ОтветитьCongratulations 🎉 we’re happy Bria is in school and enjoying it! The social part is certainly a needed life skill. FWIW: keep learning ‘on the side’ ( on your own ) . In my experience, school primarily teaches you HOW to learn. It’s up to you to keep learning and re-learning as needed. Think how the world has changed since your parents ( and many/most of your subscribers) were in school! The rate of change is even faster now. What you learn in school is only barely the foundation. Be curious, learn to reason, think logically etc. in time, learn another language ( besides Pilipino and English ) while your brain is young. Challenge yourself, don’t just settle for what your friends are attaining. Be an example for your brother. At the same time have fun. ❤
ОтветитьVery nice stories from your life in the Philippines.🙂
ОтветитьCongrats Bria, enjoy your time with others, study and learn. Most of all watch yourself as a parent in the US I found that there were students and teachers who were skeptical about your education outside of the school system. They different to her over students within the system. Just keep your eyes and ears focused on your learning process and you’ll be fine.
ОтветитьSo happy that Brianna is going to school and has made new friends.
ОтветитьI didn't know some people still uses travel agents (post pandemic). I live here in CO for almost 3 decades and go home to Dumaguete once or twice a year. I book my ticket straight from the airline itself. No hassle and cheaper. I use the route Denver to San Francisco, San Francisco to Taiwan then Taiwan to Manila or Cebu. I always arrived in my final destination at 9am. Congratulations to your daughter for deciding to attend a brick and mortar school. The list of requirements is ridiculous. Well, It is what it is. I have 2 daughters that are in Silliman University (my alma matter) and they love it there. They have classmates that are also half kids like them
ОтветитьHI 👋 you ladies. John will be home soon 🙏😉. Yippee 🙌!! Good luck in school & figure out what you want to be in life? Good luck 🍀 young lady Brianna🙏. Blessings 🙏🌸🌺🌼

ОтветитьWow, Brianna - that’s wonderful that you can study in a regular school. You will be a shining star! Make friends, enjoy school life! Your pencil case is so cute; where did your parents buy it?
ОтветитьAs a parent, that “Character Education” class would scare me to death. I wouldn’t want my daughter taught any wokeism.
