I actually had a cheater of this type before and when i called him out on this he claimed it was a glitch and he wasnt even a new guy! was very easy seeing a dozen mermaids spawn. Hackers and cheaters have no shame whatsoever

the rediculous thing is, it wouldn't be hard to write a script for the server to detect these speed hacks. All the server has to do is calculate how fast the player is going, and if it goes above lunge or cannon speed, it triggers a more in depth analysis of your record of activities and movement.

heck, you could even have the server check there is a valid reason you went over run speed if you wanted.

I really think hourglass should have some sort of time limit to prevent matches from dragging on. Personally think the battle zone should shrink periodically until the entire zone becomes red sea and both ships take constant damage until one finally sinks. You could still turtle sure but both sides would have much less margin of error to screw up which helps draw the match to a close.
