I got t-boned last year when a light drizzle turned into fog. I should have pulled off but thought I’d ridden in enough rain. Smooth move exlax
ОтветитьBack in the seventies, my brother left his kz 650 at my moms house for the winter as he was living in Winnipeg, I rode it all winter like a snowmobile. When he came to get it after the winter the back sprocket was worn down to nothing from dumping the clutch, I was 11
ОтветитьMy father does it every day for 88yrs, but I think he's eyesight is getting to bad. He only drove a vehicle (cage as he calls it) if taking the family to places or big items for the house.
ОтветитьOur Electra Glide was the very best of any of the big touring rigs we had over the years at handling adverse conditions. High winds, firehose rain storms, blasting snow, loose gravel and icy roads were all doable with the lightest touch. Those are things you only find out after trading in your Goldwing/Voyager/Suzuki/Bmer on a Harley. I always chaulked it up to the superb engine/transmission in the Harley.
ОтветитьI remember how transitioning from wet pavement to snow covered makes you sit up a bit and become ever so light on the controls, planning well ahead etc as we always rode two up summer and into winter when we got caught out now and then in a winter storm. I just called upon my ice racing experience when needed and we did fine. High pucker factor for sure :)
ОтветитьLol
ОтветитьI love riding and have been all my life, racing too, but a car is nice when the weathers bad, safer too
ОтветитьWrap the yellow 1/4 inch line spiral tight around the rim and tire tie off use bungees to keep tension under believable traction
ОтветитьI would never ride my Harley in the winter, the salt on the roads would eat it.
ОтветитьWhy ? ......low I.Q. might be a possibility . Or no I.Q . that also might be the case . Guess that the second is in the higher range. Yep . 2;43 settles it for the second option . Still society made life also possible for these so challenged individuals and not only about food and etc but getting the $$$ to buy the devices that where needed in order to make their statement . '' We don't actually have a brain ''. That shows that we live in an actually functional society where people in this state of mind can find a place . In the snow , if they so wish ;-)) .
ОтветитьNot really necessary.
ОтветитьUhhhhhhh.... Ok...
ОтветитьIts just plain stupid and unsafe for others the you feel you have to ride your bike in the snow.
ОтветитьNot me, friends...
ОтветитьJust plain stupid they’re dead that bike goes out from under him
ОтветитьHell NO!
Ответить🙏I can't even afford scooter. N about Harley its only dream bike of ma life but then also I subscribe cause it feels something watching Harley specially when they ride together...
Ответитьman the advantages of a fiberglass windscreen, maybe someday, but Iv bn saying that since they came out 30 or so years ago don't look like its going to append
ОтветитьWe used to have an unofficial contest at work. See who rode to work last for the year. I rode Thanksgiving and Christmas one exceptional year. But still got beat out. Should have rode for Newyears eve.
ОтветитьStudded tires would definitely help.
ОтветитьDifferent type of riders
ОтветитьI've never ridden a motorcycle in winter, but ridden a normal mountain bike, and I can't imagine how sketchy that would be if you got slight lateral movements from that front tire. Some brave riders out there. Respect!
ОтветитьSensacional
ОтветитьDamn that’s insane
ОтветитьI have been riding in snowy raods 3 times
I can just feel the discomfort by just watching this
Lol all the "winter" Harley riders are European those mf will ride through a blizzard for fun
ОтветитьShit, I don't even ride my bicycle in snow.
ОтветитьTime to trade in for that Pan American! Ride on brothers!
ОтветитьI used to live in TN and had to ride in some horrible conditions.
I live in the desert now 🏜️
When it's 50 degrees or colder Harley is staying in the garage. 😂😭💪🏼🇺🇲
Been there done that 😊lol
ОтветитьI have my limits at riding in frozen precipitation. Begging for a crash.
ОтветитьNope ! 😮
