Hello Lon. Another informative review. Thank you. But I want to caution you and your viewers about this and other ONN tablets. I bought a 7 inch ONN tablet and connected it to a wireless keyboard. I discovered while using the wireless keyboard that it was not possible to click on any tabs on the right side of the screen. I returned the 7 inch tablet and purchased the 10.1 inch tablet. I also connected a wireless keyboard as well as a wireless mouse. I had the same problem with not being able to open a tab on the right side of the screen. I also used other wireless keyboards and mouse and received the same negative response. I spoke with two well qualified computer professionals and they surmise there is a software problem with the ONN tablets. Yes, I could have used the touch screen function, but felt if there was this problem, what other problems might there be? I'm now using a Lenovo P11 with factory wireless keyboard.

The big question with these cheap tablets is how they stack up to the Amazon Fire tablets.

Silly question. I use ShowMYpc to help an elderly friend out of state to access her computer while we talk on the phone. I can watch her screen and either watch her control it or I can control it from my end. I am considering this tablet for my elderly mother. Do you know if there is an Android app that allows for accessing another Android tablet remotely? Something that you trust. An app like that would be wonderful for training her and helping with configuration issues that come up from time to time. Love your channel and great content. Thanks 🙂

Lon, did you mention the widevine level? I don't remember hearing it. I know the older onn tablets had the lowest level and could only sd content. Is it the case with this one as well?

To be honest, it's a fantastic tablet for $99, this is really for people for doing casual things like checking emails, watching movies and web browsing. Also for people dipping their toes into tablets/computers for the first time, so it's perfect as an introductory item for the price!

Oh, if you want a really meaty game to test these android devices on, get hold of WreckFest from the Play Store, amazing demolition derby game, but has almost PC like settings so you'd need a high end device to run it at max settings.

The whole family rather share an iPad than use that Onn tablet.

My main issue with Android tablets is the update support. I returned my Google Pixel tablet and bought a Microsoft Surface Go 2 because the Android tablet would have only gotten 3 years of securitty updates and1.5 years of OS updates.
Microsoft's Surface tablet however doesn't have an expiry date for updates and it's a full-fledged PC as well.
OH! And the Microsoft Surface Go 2 has a headphone jack...dunno why tablets are removing those...

You can’t turn off an onn product. It’s not waterproof at this price range so you could soak in the water and turn it off. Then you put it in rice to turn it back on.

I've had mine since November and love it. Too bad there's no 3.5 headphone jack...but I bought a pair of ONN USB C wired earbuds and they are just as good as any 3.5 jack headphones. Even use them with my Galaxy A25 which does have a 3.5 jack. They are the first wired earbuds that are flat corded that have remained flexible and haven't stiffened up over time to where it's annoying to use.

Their "Pro" line are legit. I wouldn't mess with these lower tier tablets.

Nice review bro....3gigs ram n 32gigs storage is almost non usable in 2025...low end budget cell phones comes wit a base storage of 64gigs rom by 4gigs ram...n they struggle to keep up lol...

You should have demonstrated the quality of the cameras. And any capacity or format issues when attaching a USB Flash Drive or Micro SD memory card. For standard definition videos and movies, this will keep people busy while on the go. Useful to know if it balks at playing 320 Kbps .MP3s or other audio formats. Did you mention the internal storage capacity? Is it possible for the owner to replace the battery or internal storage when it fails? What is the battery life per charge? Have you tried software called Connect the phone to TV for casting the screen of the tablet to a "Smart" TV?

what about streaming ... gaming streaming ? for example acting like a steam link, how well (or how laggy) does it get ?

Two notes: 1: Yes, Android 15 is out now so 14 is of course not the newest version. Although many cheap tablets are on much older versions. 2: I will look into the Widevine level when I get back from CES. Saw a lot of you asking about it. One note on this tablet is that it's effectively 720p so it won't benefit much from 1080p content.
