Lol I see you often about town and often think about giving you a toot but you probably wouldn't recognise me...
ОтветитьHi Leanna! Now I will live in fear that I will pop up doing something stupid in one of your vids :D
ОтветитьWelcome to you tube. I am going to be doing my Mod 2 in the next few weeks as a somewhat mature rider. I have to say, your teaching style and patience on this video are superb ....if only I lived a bit closer. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
ОтветитьHi Leanna, I really enjoy Russell's videos and have now subbed to you. I'm sure you will do well.
You won't need my help but I'm here if you need any help, and hopfully you will get the success Russell's had.
Don't look at my riding, it's rubbish😂👍
Cheers
Hi Leanna, you taught me last year. Russ called me out of the blue one day and offered me a test slot when I wasn't expecting it and I passed. I didn't get chance to thank you for your time, skill and patience when teaching me. Your patience really shown when you took the time to pull us over so I could pull my trousers up so you didn't have to look at my arse crack all the way back to the shop after our MOD1 practices 🤣🤣. You're a credit to the aspiring motorcyclists of the Midlands. Thank you 👏
ОтветитьGreat introductory video, much better than that utter twaddle Ross of Roadcraft Nottynum comes out with :D
ОтветитьBeen subbed to Roadcraftnottigham for years, did my test when it was the old Pt1 & Pt2 (part one being a ride around cones in a school playground, & part two being a wear a earpiece under your lid, and follow instructions) Russ's videos often open my eyes to something I may have missed, and I always think you never stop learning out there on two wheels.. So consider me subscribed ;)
ОтветитьHi!
Im a good old fallower of Ross, wish you all the best for your chanel even at 37 Mph :)
How fare from Mansfield are you
ОтветитьHi Leanna! Looking forward to more videos, brings back memories of Saturday lessons ☺️
You can let Russ know I bought a CB500… totally understand why you love teaching on it!!
Hopefully see you around and thanks again for getting me through my tests, best feeling ever! 😊

ОтветитьGreat little video, you have seem to have a commonsensical attitude taken from real experiences and I look forward to watching your videos going forward.
Note: Three monthly ride out to the coast or Matlock bath would be great for people to see you in person and build your profile.
Russ sent me. Looking forward to learning from you.
ОтветитьI did a CBT about 4-5 years ago so I'm aware of how to control the bike - but some woman pulled out infront of me within about 4 weeks of owning it and I just never bought one since. With that said, how much experience is advised for DAS? Worth noting I didn't have a full license back then either, something I do have now which honestly would have been beneficial back then (I even think a lot of L plate'rs would benefit from passing their car test).
I could get a 50cc without L plates since apparently passing car test while a CBT is 'active' automatically gives you that entitlement, but... its a 50cc haha
Hi Leanna 👋,
Passed with you last year, great instructor, can't wait to watch your uploads, I'll have to split my time between you & Russ now 😀
Good luck.
Paul Abram
Love the videos. 😎🙏🏻
ОтветитьNew subscriber here . Aged 57, passed two weeks ago . Have a brand new sv650 now . Fortunately I had a very good riding school . Look forward to seeing more vids
ОтветитьHi, Thanks for the rundown for the reason s why you are an instructor, which is something I’m considering for myself, subject to passing mods 1&2 in August (hopefully!). I’m mid 50s though, do you consider this might be too late to make a career of instructing? I have been a trainer in the rail industry but this was over 20 years ago! Thx 🙏
ОтветитьHello, Leanna! This channel couldn’t have come at a better time for me! I did my first CBT 2 years ago and recently did my renewal for it and passed my theory, made the huge decision to do my DAS as I want to progress and get a bigger bike, these videos are massive help for me leading up to my training and tests as I am extremely nervous about the whole thing! Thank you so much for this.
ОтветитьIm having the exact same issue at the moment... with feeling like my instructor does not care about getting me ready for my test and just wants my money as they only have given me 2 lessons with my test tomarrow.. and too add its on my first lesson it was on a different road while the second was and a completely different road lol.. and ive never driven on these roads.
ОтветитьHi Leanna, really enjoyed the Mod 1 lesson with you a couple of weeks ago. I passed the MOD 1 and passed the Mod 2 whilst visiting the East Coast this week (Thursday). Thanks again ☺️🏍️
ОтветитьWhat made you start riding at the age of 27 Leanne. I have been riding for 49 years and it has become a lot more dangerous now.
ОтветитьHi Leanna, thanks for sharing your knowledge….you are my go to place, fantastic, clear and engaging….one question, do you have any rides on video on a NC750XDCT, or plan to, selfish reason, I have the DCT version, bought a month ago, I have been out on my small estate, practicing slow riding and U turns, coming back after 42 years of not riding, sadly in 1981, age 19, a drunk driver almost ended me…..hey ho, that was then….I plan to do next month several one to one lessons on a 125cc bike, re learning, re training and getting my head into bike mode and road craft, baby steps for me…..I live in Jersey, small roads, max 40 mph on a few roads……we do though have 200,000 cars on the 9 by 5 mile island…..hence re training…..thanks for sharing, I think you are frankly the best instructor out there…..keep on riding…cheers…Karl
Ответить👍
ОтветитьGreat video Leanna, great commentary
ОтветитьHow long have you been riding bikes??
ОтветитьHi there, is there any chance you could give me an honest opinion on one of my videos (shorts). Its a short video of me filtering and its dividing opinion. Would be great to get an instructors opinion on it regardless if I was in the wrong or not. Many thanks :)
ОтветитьI passed my MOD2 09/10/23. I watched all of your clips regarding the Mod2 test and they were extremely helpful. An elderly man 30ft from the curb walked out into the road just as I was making a left turn. It really threw me off. But I managed to regain my composure. Only 1 minor. I think the best advice I took from your clips: when not knowing the road speed limit -- keep looking in your mirrors at the examiner during the ride. Gauging the examiner's distance from me gave me an idea if I was going too fast or too slow. In several situations, actually. So many thanks Leanna ❤
Ответитьwhat motorcycle you are using in this video. look big and tall.
ОтветитьLeanna have my mod 2 rebooked what motorbike do you drive andy 😊
ОтветитьThanks for the leason today.
