Let me give a real review of our performance, simply terrible. Ball chasing, no man coverage allowing for easy forward runs that were constantly able to develop into dangerous attacks due to a terrible back line. I was extremely hopeful after our WC performance and I understand clubs wouldn’t allow our top players to play, but yikes this was just embarrassing.

In soccer, after one mistake on offense, you get another chance. After one mistake on defense, you don't get another chance.
It's always easy to allow a goal than score a goal. Those were just unnecessary mistakes by USMNT defense.

Zimmerman is horrible. Nice job by him when he opened up the wall on the free kick goal. He vacated his spot and was the direct reason they scored. He needs to go.

It’s really exhausting thinking USA spending so many years watching the USA or any concacaf team play every year and thinking that maybe they will finally be good.

It’s always the same teams that make it to the quarter finals in major competitions every time
Defense was atrocious in this game. Poor communication on the wall, lack of discipline in holding the line and jumping, and then the second goal was poor clearance, poor assignment study, and weakness. Not good. USMNT should have won this game 1-0 but defense coughed up this win.
