He doesn't convince me at all, his children might have the "black culture" but they have lived in a wealthy family and probably know nothing about the struggle of living without money. If someone is diagnosed with a chronic disease, his thoughts are significantly different than a healthy person. What really makes the difference in your life, are the personal experiences you go theough, coming from a certain social group is much less important. I'm italian and I know nothing about mafia as I never experienced It myself, maybe Scorsese knows about It because he lived in a certain environment
ОтветитьAsí es,Denzell
ОтветитьIt's a good answer. Another good answer would be "you don't".
ОтветитьJust boosted her intelligence by +10
ОтветитьYes of course for real 🙏🏾
ОтветитьThe real question we want Denzel to ask is, You wanna go home or you wanna go to jail?
ОтветитьThis man is the the best ever . A gentleman and a class act human !!
Ответить💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
ОтветитьI will forever respect Denzel
ОтветитьA hot comb is not cultural its literally color created by Francois Marcel Grateau a white man in the late 1800's to straighten womens hair and beards he then moved to united states where he then got a patent for it i a white man still use a beard straightener or " hot comb" to this very day and in my grandparents house you will still find hot combs from the 70's but im just making this shit up so i should probably just go fuck myself and get educated
ОтветитьOH im proud of you Young Man of GOD , yes you broken it down
ОтветитьWOW WOW🙏🙏😯🙂,EXACTLY,"DENZEL" IS EXACTLY RIGHT,AND SOMETHING ELSE,I THINK WE HAVE TO STOP REFERING TO PEOPLE BY COLOR,"WE ARE NOT CRAYONS",WE ARE PEOPLE,SO WE HAVE TO START TALKING BY CULTURE!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьUmm, just like THEY call "Us" 🖤? There's Black Asian Indians, Black American Indians right!? But, Israelite is "OUR" CULTURE!!! 🎤
ОтветитьEXACTLY..EDUCATED SPEAK THAT MAKES PERFECT SENCE, TO THE EDUCATED . THATS WHY I DIG THIS CAT, AND HIS ACTING IS SPOT ON...GOD BLESS
ОтветитьCulture does not mean anyone needs to be racist or mean spirited, we respect the differences in each of us ,I admire this man and gets a deep understanding
ОтветитьDenzel and Morgan tell it like it is ❤
ОтветитьSteven Spielberg was the director of "the Color Purple".
Was it a bad movie ? I love Denzel.Washington. a fantastic actor. But i don't agree with him on this point. Disappointed by such a position.
It's the differences of oath as well.. he's made it to 2 wedding in his whole life.. 🥹 😂 one more than me 😜
ОтветитьBrilliant explanation. Spielberg and Scorsese are both white, so this truly is not just about colour.
ОтветитьIt’s segregation……….👍
ОтветитьSlayed it, Mr Washington, from the moment of Mississippi Masaala. You always slay the concept of being. ❤
ОтветитьI agree
ОтветитьMr. Washington, if a white man walks around with a PS5 in a black neighborhood, what would happen? You know it, I know it, we all know it. If a black man walks around with a PS5 in a white neighborhood, what would happen? You know it, I know it and we all know it. have a nice day.
ОтветитьDenzel is an intelligent man. I love him!
ОтветитьI don’t even know what a hot comb is
ОтветитьDenzel Washington is way to smart for a Hollywood actor!
ОтветитьWesterners are closed minded n shallow.. culture is ours… not yours
ОтветитьPreach! My fav actor!!! That's why people who claim to support black lives actually don't see it that way - which they absolutely should!
ОтветитьWhen did they stopped hiring real actors lile Denzel in Hollywood.
ОтветитьHe said nothing. Film isnt a medium with smell
ОтветитьDenzel is not only the greatest actor of his generation, but one of the wisest and tactful men who has ever worked in Hollywood. No one else I know does a better job of fighting racism both directed against him and directed outward by members of his community. He lays things out straight and clear and simple, so that people understand what he's trying to tell them.
ОтветитьHasta la niña iba reaccionar
ОтветитьTruth. I’ve lived with an African family and that scene of the hot comb( heated on an actual outdoor fire) through the hair sums up plenty. Other differences in culture a lot harder to explain and even harder to experience ( or impossible). Respect.
ОтветитьLe cayo la boca a la entrevistadora y a la vez le enseñó algo nuevo.
ОтветитьBeautiful.
ОтветитьOther cultures straighten and curl their hair on Sunday morning before church. How does he think that's just his culture?
ОтветитьCan an Asian adopt Black culture? Coz most of you blacks said cannot.
ОтветитьHe cut that question off before it could have the controversy it was intended to create… he was articulate, to the point, and did not project an opinion but rather a fact while painting an entire scene. I instantly was picturing a black mom or daughter doing their hair getting ready for a Sunday service. I have ZERO idea of that feeling… but he took me there while simultaneously explained to me how I would NEVER be able to have that experience. He did that in 3 sentences. What an amazing response from an amazing talent. He is America. Atleast the best version of what America could be
ОтветитьDenzel is such a smart guy. He has a way of speaking that really makes the point.
ОтветитьWHITE MEN CAN SMELL THINGS TOO
ОтветитьLove denzel. Incredible man.
ОтветитьSee he explains it well without it sounding racist in the slightest bit.
ОтветитьAs Asian, I have no idea what hot comb is! 😵💫 it is a cultural difference he’s right
ОтветитьAh yes. Chandler's list. Such a memorable movie.
Ответитьoh... he is not wrong. he is: WRONG!
ОтветитьJordan Peele would have been insulting but Denzel answered the question respectfully and put it in a way better way
ОтветитьBest explanation I have ever heard!
ОтветитьSo well articulated that it seems obvious when he explains it as he did.
ОтветитьWell said. I come from a mixed family so I was lucky enough to learn that difference early.
