great vid, I want to make this for my boyfriend cause its his favorite. The rosemary is a very nice touch!
ОтветитьThank you so much. I followed your advice and it was delicious!
Ответитьthis was awesome !!!! ill let you know how it turns out!!
ОтветитьShould be 400 deg. in oven for 2-5 minutes depending on your liking.
Ответитьthe sear times you give in the video are different than the written instructions on your website (much longer). It looks like total cook time in the video is 6 mins, with only 2 of those in the oven?
ОтветитьThey might taste perfect, but searing at high temperature as you did products carcinogens in the meat. Sad but true, so best not to sear at high temperature even if it tastes better.
ОтветитьHi Dave, I cooked my filet after watching your Perfect Filet Mignon video using the skillet and oven technique. It's a good method for me and I was wondering if I can use the same method to cook a Rib Eye no bone. If so how would the cooking times vary compared to the Filet? Thank you.
Ответитьare we supposed to use a cast iron skillet?
ОтветитьWhat kind of skillet is this?
Ответитьdis guy bae fat But bae
ОтветитьThird video I've seen where the cook doesn't cut it. Damn.
ОтветитьIn the oven on 'bake' or 'broil'? And what's the "perfect" oil used?
ОтветитьDid I miss something? Are you on drugs? Where the hell is the oven???????????????
Ответитьthis was a HIT... thanks for posting.
Ответитьlmao stole gordons vid in the same order too.
ОтветитьSure looks burnt to me. And it's travesty not cutting the steaks to show.
ОтветитьI have tried this 4 times and every time the steaks are PERFECT! Thank you for showing me how to cook a good steak.
ОтветитьThat thumb and index thing needs to go away. Skinny people don't have that much give on their palm...and fat people are gonna have a lot of fat on their palms.
ОтветитьGordon Ramsay

ОтветитьMy wife told me to thank you that I learnt how to prepare meat without drying it out. Apparently, I over cooked the nice cut of meat!
Ответитьolive oil?
Ответитьwhy didn't you cut it and showed us how it looks inside?
ОтветитьCUT THE STEAK
Ответить2.25 thick at the most sucka!
ОтветитьThe wife was away and doesn't eat meat. I relied on your video. Followed exactly. Perfect! I never cooked one.
Love your style - not obnoxious and nice and clear. Love the baby in the background. I think I'll subscribe.
That wasn't med rare, the video is less than 5 minutes, that was more like a blue rare
ОтветитьYou didn't say what heat to set the oven at? this video sucks
Ответить🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
ОтветитьNO oven temp & NO showing the middle of steak..... :( Also at the beginning: 2.5 min for each side and 2 min in the oven, but at the end: 2 min, 2 min for each side and 2 min in the oven. I marked "like" video at the beginning, but then changed to "don't like" after watching.
ОтветитьI followed your directions, it came out perfect. Thank you
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьthis is sad
ОтветитьYou let the meat get room temperature before adding salt
ОтветитьNice lookin filet
ОтветитьWhat type/kind of oil are you using?
ОтветитьWTF Only 2min in Oven??! Lol dats not Done
ОтветитьFail.massage FIRST with EVOO...then season/marinade...let rest..BACON-WRAP THE FILET!! ...Sear high-heat...then broil @ 475 for 6-8 mins.(less 4-5 mins for med-rare to medium(DONE TO PERFECTION!!
Ответитьyou fat bastard, lol
ОтветитьNo garlic no onions???????
ОтветитьDumb question...what temperature is the oven on?
ОтветитьI watched this video several years ago and have been cooking steaks like this ever since.... Perfect EVERY single time! Thank you!
ОтветитьWhy not leave them in the pan longer on each side ... no oven!!!
ОтветитьI love you! You're such a good teacher! Everything you've taught me so far has been delicious! Thank you!
ОтветитьNext time use clarified butter the peter luger way and to season it use only kosher salt the peter luger way
