Those little book boxes are great. I suspect that the jester illustration and design on the first one was by Edward Bawden, as it looks very similar to some of his advertising illustrations.

Why is paperback mailers not still a thing!!!! It's a great idea and would probably be rather popular in the modern years, especially with the internet.

Can't say i have seen much if any of those protectors..The second hand sellers are most likely to remove and toss some where...( the covers not the book.😏) And as for the gift boxes...judging how these things are ...i am sure few survive the mail and the opening..Thanks again...Till then...
