Those little book boxes are great. I suspect that the jester illustration and design on the first one was by Edward Bawden, as it looks very similar to some of his advertising illustrations.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing! Could the jesters be a David Gentleman design? Looks very similar to his Shakespeare covers..
Ответить"The Case of the Drowsy Mosquito" is a fascinating title for a book!
ОтветитьCool
ОтветитьI’d love to get a book in the mail in one of those
ОтветитьWould have been a great way to give a gift to the book lover.
ОтветитьWhy is paperback mailers not still a thing!!!! It's a great idea and would probably be rather popular in the modern years, especially with the internet.
ОтветитьThank you. Another cool vid and interest catching .Is there any that is not worth a click and watch.. Can't say i have seen much if any of those protectors..The second hand sellers are most likely to remove and toss some where...( the covers not the book.😏) And as for the gift boxes...judging how these things are ...i am sure few survive the mail and the opening..Thanks again...Till then...
ОтветитьAn incredible idea and the boxes look beautiful. With a revival (or continued love) of physical media this type of product would surely be well received today for books, and perhaps even video games. Cheers 👍
