CLAPTON was the first and foremost everyone sought to unseat- and no one came close, not Hendrix, Beck or SRV (who I love). CLAPTON IS THE HANDS DOWN BEST EVER despite Patti...
ОтветитьI just hate Eric Clapton why he changed this guitar!!the sound is simply explosive. Amazing. I can't describe what i feel everytime ihear this tune.😊😊😊
ОтветитьIt is not that good.
ОтветитьToo bad EC stopped playing like this after Layla.
ОтветитьI bought The Blues breakers album (Beano) when I was 16, in 1966. I still have it. Brilliant stuff. Dave Clemson Of Colosseum is my all time favourite though.
ОтветитьNo gadgets, just fingers, 6 strings & a touch of genius without ego. Clapton at his 'in your face, finest' !
ОтветитьHe played it exactly the same as Freddie King did 5 years earlier but with 20% more gain. That's what passes for innovation in Britain. All credit goes to Jim Marshall, who was also copying a genuine American genius but managed to bring something of his own to the table.
Ответить… and then there’s Michael Bloomfield ….
ОтветитьTHE BASS PLAYING IS GREAT
CARLOS GUITARLOS 90042 USA
Great Freddie King tune. This is back when we called Eric "slow hand".
ОтветитьMayall blues god.❤❤❤
ОтветитьFirst guitarist I know that would play double notes in his leads
ОтветитьClapton is looking for somewhere else to go…I mean….,he hardly ever showed up…. LOL!
ОтветитьJohn Mayall will be inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame this year 2024.
ОтветитьNo me canso de escuchar este tema.
ОтветитьI once borrowed a friend's album that had this on it. He also loaned me his Peter Greene album. That's what I listened to when I was moving from rhythm guitar and organ over to lead. Pretty good examples, hunh?
ОтветитьSomehow I get more blown away by EC’s guitar play every time I hear this song.
Ответить1966/7
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful tone - Far removed from that fuzzy cheap Strat sound he favours now - But hey - perhaps his hearing has changed somewhat over the years - Whatever - at least this track off this album will live forever - in the file marked check this out!!!!!
ОтветитьRIP

ОтветитьThe first blues band i ever saw ,68 or ,69 , Civic Hall Wolverhampton. Mick Taylor on lead guitar. Shaped my love for Blues forever. R.I.P. John😢

ОтветитьFirst Class 👍👍👍👍🎸🎹🎹🎸
ОтветитьRIP John Mayall 😢
Ответить“Killing Floor”(Howlin Wolf)” in the middle bit .
ОтветитьGuitarists: if you want this tone, you want Throbak KZ-115's.
A2. Long. Don't ask me how but they nailed it.
The neck? Might want to consider flipping it. I think they overwind the screw.
Lots of howlin wolf in there.
ОтветитьLike this guy He’s got blues written all over Keep it up man
ОтветитьStolen Clapton image (Cream at the Marquee Club in 1966) !!
ОтветитьNow that Fleetwood Mac is apparently in limbo with the passing of Christine McVie, I wonder if John and/or Mick would consider working on a blues project with Eric
ОтветитьStill sends shivers down my spine, this song. Great, biting tone. EC really at the top of his game here.
ОтветитьSo many great lines here.
ОтветитьHe's simply the best - at this sort of stuff.
ОтветитьFor me, the reason Clapton is rated among the greats. One of the tracks that inspired me to play the guitar. The volume control alone is masterful. Then factor in the phrasing, tonality and emotional output. Unbeatable.
ОтветитьClapton does great things with this Freddie King tune.
ОтветитьI used to love blues and still love it. Greetings from Warsaw, Poland
ОтветитьBack in 1966/67 when I started playing GTR this was a must know/play instrumental!!!
