I saw Rick Emmitt play at a small club (well not too small) in San Diego back in the early 90's, vocals and guitar work as great as ever!!
ОтветитьThese superbe groups never come back, thats sooooooo sad, because without music i can't live!!!!!!!!.
ОтветитьDouble kneck Gibson, very expensive.
ОтветитьPolished.
ОтветитьAnother Canadian great❤🇨🇦 Rik Emmett has fantastic range and they had many hits
Lay It On The Line Hold On Somebody's Out There Fight The Good Fight....just a few😊
Was 21 when this was recorded I want to go back the 60's I'm 62 suck nothing good has happened since I turned 60 2022 the 20's were tough hard but still better than now
Ответить83 was the first half of my senior year in high school. Great memories 😊
Ответить1983 ✋️
ОтветитьI was there, Motley Crue Judas Priest, ozzy , Van Halen ,scorpions and triumph
ОтветитьIf you need another uplifting song from Triumph, listen to Hold On.
ОтветитьI am Canadian so I am yes a rush fan and also a Triumph fan. And I got a thing for power trios. Your Rush videos is where I found you. Now I watch all kinds of reaction videos on my favorite bands but the reactions are always for the Mega hits. I I'm a huge triumphant. I think one of the greatest songs is follow your heart. No one has ever done a reaction to that song. Foreigner a great band long long way from home is an amazing song no one has done a reaction to that. Reactionists need to go into the full catalog just like you did with Rush. Sure do enjoy your show thanks very much. PS if you're going to react to follow your heart live from Halifax Nova Scotia is a great version and I happen to be there for that one.
ОтветитьSaw Triumph a bunch of times. Always great in concert. Bumped into Rik Emmett once in Yorkville about 10 min after I literally had Randy Bachman bump into me (they were doing some session together apparently)... and bumped into Mike Levine when a buddy and I went to 97 Rock in Buffalo (cross border concert shopping) to get tickets. Both Rik and Mike were awesome to meet.
ОтветитьI approve the message of this song. :)
ОтветитьI met this band after their very last concert at Kingswood, Canada's Wonderland in the late 80s - to celebrate their fans, they held a huge invite only BBQ after the show and my girl and I won passes. The band cruised around the BBQ and took time out to talk with all their fans and sign autographs, it was a blast, but bittersweet as it had been their last show as Triumph.
ОтветитьLay it on the Line, Magic Power, Fight the Good Fight, Follow Your Heart, Rock 'N' Roll Machine, Allied Forces, Spellbound, Tears in the Rain, Blinding Light Show.
You can't pick a bad song.
they played my highschool long before they had songs
ОтветитьBetter than Rush!
ОтветитьI was 20 when this song came out, seen them in "the Metro Center" in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada!! They recorded a video at the concert!!😀👌👍✌🤘
ОтветитьBig smile on the redhead! Methinks you like!
ОтветитьYour absolutely enchanting ❤
ОтветитьTriumph (and Rush) are the best things from Canada since maple syrup.
ОтветитьClassic Rock at it's finest
ОтветитьMore Rush than Journey ...
ОтветитьBrilliance ... Triumph. Thank goodness I lived this era and saw the concerts without looking over your shoulder.
ОтветитьMe too I was there
Ответить🤘🇨🇦🤘
ОтветитьHey beautiful! check out Triumph's " Ordinary Man " much meaning in this song and great music!
ОтветитьRock and roll machine...that was my go to song to get me going back in the 80s
ОтветитьYes their was 2 unbelievable 3 piece bands from Canada.
ОтветитьGreat and very short-lived, two great albums of the lead singer Rik Emmett went off to do his own thing. he taught music theory classes in college, went into sort of a jazz guitar duo called Strung-Out Troubadours which is great as well
ОтветитьIt is great. They did have a few hits, but were really underrated overall. Agree as well, they were totally positive, as well as amazing musicians. Would so have loved to have been at this concert Unfortunately, never got to see them live 😞
ОтветитьCheck out Fight the good fight and Lay it on the line by Triumph. I think you’ll enjoy them 🤘🏻😁
ОтветитьThey were kind of the good guys of hard rock/heavy metal. Their songs were uplifting feel good songs and they had a lot of good songs and never got their due! Rik IMHO has the best voice for a lead guitarist/lead singer combo in rock. They should be in the HOF! To be honest I think their good guy image hurt their careers in a bad boys genre!
ОтветитьI saw them live in the 80s and even after seeing hundreds of concerts since then they will always be my favorite live show! They were absolutely amazing! 🤙
ОтветитьI saw Triumph in 1983. Lee County Civic Center, Ft Myers Florida
ОтветитьRic Emmett is incredibly talented. Dude is one of the best singers ever, and an elite guitarist.
ОтветитьTriumph was a really good band and I never understood what happened to them. Very good musicians, fun music, great vocals. It could be said the song writing was a little hokey, but they just kind of died out and disapeared.
ОтветитьIt’s hard to believe that 41 years ago I was actually in that crowd! The US festival was 3 days of awesomeness and dirt!!
ОтветитьWas at this show and they killed it best band there , and there were big names there , they were one of the first bands to perform as you can still see daylight,
ОтветитьAnother reason why Canda. Guys rock just like rush more bands from Canada 🇨🇦
ОтветитьMy. Brother in arm from Canada 🇨🇦
Ответить80’s were so special.
ОтветитьSo good! Great reaction!
ОтветитьBeing from southern Ontario, Canada, it seemed like every summer Triumph, Rush and April Wine were in town. I saw each 7 times and still have all their records. 3 of Canada's best. Unfortunately, I see so many reactions to Rush these days and it's a shame that both Triumph and April Wine have been forgotten.
ОтветитьLove you and your reactions !! Triumph stole the show at the US Festival wiyh a Big-Time line-up of feature bands. But I can't believe you were around in 1983 !! You look like one of those "Millenials" !(sadly, I was 35 in '83)... Great year !! Keep it up !!
ОтветитьAgain you are so adorable with your reactions! Keep it up.
Ответитьa picture of triumph should be the definition of rockstars
ОтветитьWould have loved to have seen Triumph, Rush and Boston all in one festival. So much pure rock and roll talent in those days.
ОтветитьThe massive Us Festival took place over three days, outdoors in San Bernardino, California, on May 28–30, 1983. Triumph appeared on May 29, which was billed as "Heavy Metal Sunday" and included Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Mötley Crüe, Quiet Riot, and Van Halen. Triumph stole the show from all these great bands that day.
ОтветитьI just turned 60 in 2024, and this is still in my top 5 All-Time favorites!! I remember 1983!! 😊
