For the gamer who has everything-- proceeds to advise buying diplicates. As a fairly well ventured gamer theough life, my studio/game/office/project space looks like a museum. Lol dont buy me game stuff!

As someone who's used xbox elite controllers since they were released, I can say that they're a terrible gift or a purchase for yourself. As much as I love the design, feel and weight of the controller, they're certainly not that durable. I'm very careful with my equipment, always keep my stuff clean and never rough with them at all. Sure, games frustrate me at times but I've never been one to slam my mouse, keyboard or controllers.
That being said, I've been through FOUR xbox elite controllers. Constantly having to return them to get a new one because something went wrong with the previous ones. Either the top bumpers will stop functioning and not work at all, they'll register 3-4 inputs instead of one or the left thumbstick will lose it's center range, causing me to automatically move without touching it OR lose it's side range, resulting in not being able to let's say sprint or run in a game for example.

Very strange coming from xbox controllers too considering their stock controllers, taking xbox 360 controllers for example, would last for years on end with no issues at all. They really need to sort out these issues with the xbox elite controllers as we're paying a very high premium price. Small things like this should NOT be an issue.

I was tempted because my friend is black and she is often asked if her bag is fake. People just immediately assume they are. Even though I'm white, I still get people asking me if my bag is real. Controllers are always needed especially if they are a console gamer. You can never have too many controllers. Just make sure you are buying the right controller for their system.

To be precise, UHS-2 only works when also the card is UHS-2. There is a physical difference, since UHS-2 has two rows of pins on the back of the card and are usually not supported by anything aside professional cameras or some drones. The 25$ SanDisk will definitely not take advantage of that.
