Micheal is such an elegant rider, Chipmunk is gorgeous and so athletic. Remember when the Germans were the top dressage team. The German forward seat is equitation history, very disciplined.

Why is this an event?

Somehow I had no idea that equestrian eventing was a sport with men and women genuinely competing on equal terms as individuals, not as a part of a mixed relay or something. Are there any others like that in the olympics?

Is this the male German rider who was seen punching his horse in the head after a competition?! After Dujardin, I believe it will take a long while for equestrian sports to overcome all the rumors and fact checking of the abuse of horse athletes! This type abuse has gone on for too long, and should be monitored more closely in the future! And, let's face it, many competitive riders join the sport so they CAN bully and abuse large animals!
