How does it take an entire console generation the game came out a year ago

what about frame rate and blurryness on the edges of the screen? Does it run better as well? I stopped playing after like 2 hours because of the low fps and stutter.

It’s beyond my comprehension that it’s taken them so long to figure that out😂 I quit playing the game for that particular reason. Now, I’m willing to give it a second chance.

Echos of Wisdom's BIG problem was the 60fps to 30fps jumps, which you didn't address whatsoever to let anyone know if it runs better on Switch 2.

Honestly, this might bump the game up from a 7/10 to an 8/10. I'll need to try it.

Easiest solution completely ignored at launch. Nintendo can be so... Out there sometimes.

Now the game is worth replaying.

Way too many Echoes in this game, half of them are redundant, many don't do anything. Aonuma seems to be on a stint of sacrificing game design for freedom and while it's cool I can make a copy of every single asset in the game and then some, in practice it does little other than muddy the experience. There seriously only needed to be like, 30 of these things. Like, did we really need two types of pots? A frog that summons rain? Three types of birds? Do we really need to keep all four statues from the Gerudo Temple?

This is great. Previously I told people who asked for favorites that it wouldn't be a proper fix, because I saw it as just another sort type, and cycling through orders is a bit messy (identifying the best one could be confusing in action and I often sorted one step too far). But this is clean, the dedicated button allows to toggle between favorites and anything else. Shows how far a simple bit of UI can go. 😊

Also should conclude all debate that it ever was an issue, including for TOTK. I respect that the devs want us to come across all the stuff we collect, but that shouldn't come at as a punishment for those who want to do something more specific.

Can I jump straight to echoes of wisdom to should I play links awakening first?

I hope in Link's awakening they'll add the ability to share dungeons.

I don’t see the point of this.
One of the echo menu options is Most Used. If you have Echos favorited they’ll likely end up in the most used menu anyways.

I wonder if the other game updates add or fix anything.

What... did they change in TotK? I love nintendo patch notes which basically always just say "Fixed some stuff :) "

More than anything else, I like this list of games because it implies Nintendo actually cares about them. And since it includes Clubhouse 51, I hope we can get a second one. That's a game that could actually benefit from a mouse controls option.
But then it also makes me sad that a game like Mario Maker 2 isn't on this list.

Sweet! An update for legend of Zelda: echoes of wisdom. I still haven't finished the game 😂 but I'm very excited to go back playing 😊 I can't wait for to use a favorite options for this game and very excited for switch 2 and Mario kart world stream 😊

That is good to see! Makes me want to replay it one of these days!
I want them to go back to TotK, because they need to fix so much of it, that it pisses me off they just launched the game and left it there, without fixing or adding anything else to the game.
Game is great but it has a lot of potential for improving, that i just don't want to replay it again, until, at least, sage abilities are reworked, because right now, they are just annoying to use. BotW was so much better in this regard, that it just takes the fun away for a replay, to me lol.

I gotta say, Andre- I absolutely love your no-nonsense, 3-minute, straight-to-the-point videos. Virtually nobody does this and it's a big reason I love your stuff!

They didn't fixed anything, the game is still woke now that Kirby Twinkle Popopo returned after a long and painful absence

It's a little rough around the edges, but this will make the game way easier to replay. Good on them (Grezzo, not Nintendo, presumably) for taking the steps to make their game more enjoyable.
