GI Joe Classified Storm Shadow V2 Review

So cool that they can hold/carry all (or almost all) of their accessories. One thing that bothered me about figured when I was a kid. Also definitely prefer his look when he moved over to the Joes.

I grabbed the OG Stormshadow but was super happy the V2.0 was being made...I recommend BBTS (Big Bad Toy Store) if you are having issues finding current cool nerd treasures.

I'm more of an original Storm Shadow guy. The worst part about this new one, TO ME, is the hood.

It definitely messes with my nostalgia to see a newer, bigger scale for GI Joe figures. He looks cool though, and I'm not shocked by the price, for once.

Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes are probably the top two figures/characters, but my 2nd two favorites are Firefly and Beach Head. Those figures look great as well

Aside from there downgrades in quality control and some design choices. Classified is my favorite collector item currently.

Back in the day I had Shockwave who came out at the same time as storm shadow and had a blue version of the same urban splitter style camo

I like both versions of Storm Shadow but I prefer the original version over the second version.

Yeah, I would take off the Sword sheath. In Japanese Martial (Budō) especially Kenjutsu or Ninjitsu. The Sword is worn on the left side of the body. During the Japanese Edo period it was also by law the Katana be worn on the left side. Shinobi/Ninjas only wore the sword on their back while scaling up a wall or crawling through tight spaces .

I'm a big fan of the classic hama run and I've been waiting for this version to come out because one of my favorite covers is this storm shadow issue 85 which is also the SFX issues. he looks great but I wish they make one closer to that cover.

This version of SS was the only one available when i was younger, so i have a soft spot for this outfit. I just recently got into Classified (i really didnt want to start another collection, haha) and i was only going to collect Python Patrol til i saw this guy. Who needs a savings account anyways?

I agree. GI Joe did make diversely skilled characters more interesting.

You can heat up the belt/skirt with hair dryer or heat gun and slide it off his hips with no damage to the figure or the skirt piece. I did it, it took less than 60 seconds and now I have a Retro Storm Shadow.
