We may be sad for Peter and Venom seperating. But at same time for me it went up with good note.

Venom was lost and had no idea what to do next. Going back to Peter to find a hope of purpose.
Venom after spent time with Peter. It sorta has gained bit of Peter's psyche. Just as how Spider-Man wants to save people. Seeing now Dylan and Eddie in bad condition. Venom having found the opportunity to do what Spider-Man would do. Bonding with them to kinda save them but also probably showing them with new purpose for the better. Similar how Peter did to Venom. On top of all these happening. Venom is grateful to Peter and right before leaving. Venom says "Goodbye friend" to Peter.

I really don't get why people want Peter to keep the symbiote, it's absolutely pointless. He HOLDS BACK everyday on the regular, the extra strengh is wasted on him or any character that doesn't hold back like Flash or Eddie. I swear they only want him to keep it to have stupid geek arguments of "Symbiote Spidey low diffs hulk, sentry and the living tribunal all combined. He also gets all the bitches and is the bestest ever". That shit doesn't work with Miles Morales, who Marvel doesn't know what else to do to make people dig him (have him meet 616 Spidey and beat him without trying, have all of his powers plus invisibility, plus electricity, plus lightsabers plus energy absortion, plus vampire powers, revive Ultimate Peter just to validate him, make 616 validate him, have Insomniac Peter glaze him the whole game telling him he is better than he ever was with just 1 year of experience). IT DOESN'T WORK. People like characters because of who they are, not what they are. We love better because he is a symbol of perseverance and Miles always falls flat because from conception he was meant to be a token (this is not me dissing him, Bryan Michael Bendis and the artist of that time both admited so, the wanted a "black mixed Spider-Man because of Obama and what he represented at the time", he wasn't born out of passion like Blade, T'Challa, Luke Cage, Cardiac, Icon or Static. He was made so his creators can be told how good they are on twitter.

The main attraction of this whole thing was the premise of "regression" where venom revert back being with spidey possibly eliminating other symbiotes the process.

Hot take: honestly, the venom story line should have ended with king in black right there, the "variants" of symbiotes and future "almighty venoms" is kinda tiresome and ridiculous, now they have a chance to revert back to once it was, they threw it away with this (spidey once again, treated as a "quest guide", instead of a key character).

I decided to stop buying when peter gave up the symbiote

On one hand I'm sad that peter lost the symbiote but on the other hand the fact that they separated on a good note an in order to save others definitely feels natural and a lot better than what could have happened but now peter is going to be alone again while MJ is with another guy everyone hates and peter is going to continue to have life kick him while he is down while every other spider person keeps pulling random powers out of nowhere but marvel could do something interesting and align the comics with the insomniac games and give peter an anti venom symbiote of his own but I doubt that will happen

Peter Parker never gets any new powers now he also have to give up the suit this is not fair
