ОтветитьFather Mike Schmidt Accession bible in a year you tube is excellent I’m on day 325 he prays and he explains and his voice is heavenly.
ОтветитьThank you so much ! Great insights
ОтветитьI have the Scriptures. What are your thoughts?
ОтветитьIt is so funny, I find reading the old testament easier than the new and I am able to easily apply some old testament laws to everyday life. With the new testament the parables tend to confuse me.
ОтветитьHi! Can you link the type of interleaved Bible you have please?
ОтветитьCouple of quick questions. Do you study, read, and have devotional time in from the same interleaved bible? I tend to confound or confuse these topics and switch between bibles. I like the idea of keeping everything in one bible. I have an ESV cambridge wide margin where the text is so cluttered with notes that its almost impossible to read. I am considering the NKJV interleaved for this purpose so I can make notes in the margin on the text side and leave the interleaved for study notes and observations on the right side. All things, considered would you say that its best to read, study, and have devotional time all from one bible?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьStart from basic . your husband how he became a pastor ? God told ? Bible college is not accept . reply to me .
ОтветитьHello! Recently, I have been wanting to study my Bible, but my Bible pages are to thin any tips?
ОтветитьWhere did you get your bookshelves? Love your channel!!!
ОтветитьThe 95 day grace plan is a good idea but, ultimately we shouldn't read for time, we should read for understanding no matter how long it takes. Although we should maintain our consistency
ОтветитьFor what it's worth, if anything, I think a good one volume Bible commentary is the New Bible Commentary. It features evangelical scholars like Don Carson, Sinclair Ferguson, T. Desmond Alexander, Derek Kidner, Bruce Waltke, R. T. France, Donald Guthrie, Moises Silva, Colin Kruse, Doug Moo, Leon Morris, Doug Stuart, Christopher J. H. Wright, and many others.
Also, I really like the ESV Bible Atlas.
I am not religious, but I do thirst to learn. I find myself wanting to read the bible, the Talmud, the Qu'ran, as well as historical documents, from a historical point of view. I want to dissect these, look at each point and go on a treasure hunt through dictionaries, atlases, maps references, and opinions so that one day I can finally say "now I understand". I would also like to compare and contrast to find similarities just to see how alike contrasting views actually are. I value and prize knowledge and you have given me incentive. I hope I didn't offend you by saying I am not religious, I actually value your vast knowledge and voice.
ОтветитьI'm mostly homebound, what are some online resources you can share? Thanks.
ОтветитьI flight attendant saw we writing on my Bible and highlighting. She was so funny. Possibly in her late 70s. She told me I really should do that. That it’s disrespectful to the Word. It was a half empty flight for 5 hours so we got the chance to actually sit together and talk about it. By the end sweet Bernice was on fire and so was I. God good good fire. I love flying. You never know who you’re going to meet. You never know who God gifts you for those moments in the day.
ОтветитьLet's thank and praise the mighty living God who answers every prayer. His answers are always on time and are exactly what we NEED to hear. 🙏 🙏
ОтветитьI think if you focus on the time verse on the Word of God itself, it is daunting. But if you recognize that nothing in the Bible is that self explanatory, that you need to read comentaries and dictionaries and listening to sermons on a particular Scripture, yeah it adds up.
There are days I look up and realize I've been sitting in the Word for 2, 3, 5 hours and not even realized it.
I would don't focus on the amount of time but the quality of time. I would rather really work a Scripture for an hour than spend 3-6 hours just reading and not understanding a word of it.
Do you use Logos ? Its almost impossible to carry all them books with you :P
ОтветитьNew subscriber here.
ОтветитьKing James and NAS are my go to, absolutely love the Psalms and the Gospels, to this day am still in awe with Jesus and how He lived and dealt with all things and is my Redeemer! PRAISE THE LORD!! The Ps. gives me peace and strength while the Gospels beckons me to be Holy, thank you for your testimony that will touch many. God bless!
ОтветитьAnother (old school) note taking method is called the “miscellanies.” This way you don’t have to have new Bibles every year or two.
ОтветитьKJV is the most accurate with the Hebrew Bible. It says in God's word not to add or take away from the Bible. Some translations are questionable.
ОтветитьWhere did god come from?? I've asked this question so many times to people but nobody has an answer.
ОтветитьHi, you should study [Dakes Annotated reference Bible]. It is will be help a lots details in keys.
Thanks
I Tell others, do Not do a Read The Bible in a Year or Read Commentaries. All The Bibles in the World Will NOT be Much Help, If You DO NOT have The Holy Spirit, Teaching and Guiding You. No One Comes to Christ Except The Father Calls. If You Feel His Voice Tugging on Your Heart, Ask Forgiveness. When He Answers, You Will be Washed by The Blood of The Lamb, You Will be Baptized with The Holy Spirit, You Will be Changed ( 2Corinthians 5:17 ) You Will Know, Impossible Not to. Read The Bible Daily, The Holy Spirit Will Teach and Guide You as You Read. Tell Others what Christ has Done in Your Life and how You were Saved and how They can be. By Doing These Things You Will Become Stronger and Draw Closer to The Lord
ОтветитьMost People in Churches Today are More Lost than The Lost and Believe They are Saved But Will Only Hear Depart from me You Workers of Iniquity. They Will be Cast into The Lake of Fire. Many are on The Wide Road that Leads to that NEVER ENDING TORMENT. Few There be that Find The Narrow Road that Leads to Life
Ответитьgreat advice on reading the gospels and also focusing on the new testament. Wish I heard that years ago
ОтветитьGotta live what the Bible teaches as well
ОтветитьTraduction français please
Ответитьi've been praying for a video like this. Thank you
ОтветитьWhat did you learned about the feast of tabernacles? You know still an ordenance still active today, that was taking away from us.
Those festivals are God's feasts, not only for the jews

ОтветитьI have a two bibles one to completely read though and one to jump around.

ОтветитьHi Faith. You may never ever see this comment and you may never respond due to your schedule but I have a request for your opinion....would you be willing to do a review of the BBC? The BBC is the Nelsons Believers Bible Commentary by Thomas Nelson Publishers? It is a very large extensive single volume commentary.
Ответить3 HOURS?!! You go! But tell me, how do you make that work out? I guess you have some busier days than others so I do you manage that?
ОтветитьThank you

I’m sure you have already noticed this as it was filmed 7mo ago, but the Mr. Pen pink and purple click pen bleed after awhile! But I love the fine tip ones the most! So reasonably priced as well.
ОтветитьI recommend the Rose Now and Then Bible Atlas.
ОтветитьThank you for all that you do for your community!
ОтветитьFor me, the Old Testament is easier to understand. Now when I read the New Testament it makes sense
Ответитьthis is crazy
ОтветитьIf I could, I would spend the entire day in Bible study. My problem is forgetting meals, children, etc 😮 I guess it's that old ADD thing.
So, if I can't divide my attention, I won't. Who says children can't learn to Bible study with you, no matter the age or abilities? So that's my plan today...with 4 boys 10-13.
