Ответитьbrilliant love this song.the skids were fantastic. still love them.
ОтветитьDeath or glory boys.
Ответитьseeing them tonight ! excited as heck
ОтветитьA great little film. Top acting and action.
ОтветитьExcellent! The film has its detractors, but this must be the most moving cavalry charge on film, perfectly matched here to the track by the inimitable Skids.
ОтветитьThe song is idiotic.
ОтветитьGenius
ОтветитьShould have been the trooper by maiden
Ответитьepic song of an epic folly, many thanks for this masterpiece
ОтветитьBravo!
ОтветитьClass film and very real.
ОтветитьSaw them at the Cowdenbeath YMCA long before they got record deal and I delivered mild to the original drummer Tam Adamson, met Ricky Jobson a few times rhe. Saw Big Country a few times as well
ОтветитьDeath or Glory
ОтветитьBought this single when I was a teen cos I really liked it. Great to learn what it's actually about as I could never decipher all the lyrics. If I remember rightly, a live version of TV Stars was the on the b side
ОтветитьAnd Harry Flashman said “Fuck this for a game of soldiers, where’s the exit?”
ОтветитьWhen Britain was great 😢....Great vid and great tune !
ОтветитьRip stu.......
ОтветитьThe uniforms are not accurate for the brigade.
I was a Trooper in one of the antecedent regiments.
We still have a table from the officers mess which was used by the surgeons and struck by a Russian ball at some stage.
Captain Nolan was one of ours.
Mente et Manu
I don’t think these idiots could find Crimea on a map.
The coalition successfully stopped Tsarist expansion into Istanbul and kept the Straits out of Russian hands.
It was a success.
"C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la guerre"
ОтветитьJobbo's singing can't keep up w/ his lyrics.
Ответитьjust remember the idiots of the establishment still exist the ones that ordered an act of total stupidity would do it again as they have done just as long as its not them doing it . imagine trying to ride down artillery on a horse with a daft sword .
ОтветитьAll this history betrayed by a pack of beta weemen and unhinged leftist women in british government that opened the gates, let the hoards in and now brnd knee and kiss their arses. The current P. M. IS A TOTALITARIAN POS. From a brit that lives in America.
ОтветитьInto the valley peas taste divine? WTF.....
ОтветитьTattooed their group on my arm when I was 16😮😮😮😮
ОтветитьFrom my home town.
ОтветитьAmazingly enough starmer planning part 2 as we speak.
ОтветитьSStarmer wants to recreate history. The dog won't send his own son.
ОтветитьPrefer the Maxell advert
ОтветитьNice try but the AI inspired lyrics are garbled garbage "A victory tombstone " was never mentioned
ОтветитьMy childhood.
ОтветитьThe charge of the light brigade in Crimea was a mistaken order . The order by Lord Cardigan was to attack the left flank only not a full frontal attack which is suicidal . When the attack finished they had dislodged the Russian artillery. The battle of Crimea was to defeat Peter the great of Russia. The French, British and Turks all fought together to beat Russia, There is war cemetery still in crimea with many British troops laid to rest there . Also nurse Nightingale changed how the injured were treated in crimea and this was carried-out with reforms in the british military saving thousands of lifes in year to come.
ОтветитьSergeant Frederick Peek 13th light dragoons who took part lived in the town I was born. His buried in the local cemetery. Died around 1908. His grave is very impressive.
ОтветитьUsed to listen to this on the radio at home, never knew the words apart from "into the valley". Thanks for adding the subs, now I know what the song is about. Should pay attention to the lyrics more often.
ОтветитьHad the record....that dates me....Still A Great Tune !
Ответить"C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas la guerre." ("It is magnificent, but it is not war.")
ОтветитьGreat tune
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥bangin video
ОтветитьThe most incomprehensible song since The Kingsnen's "Louise, Louise."
"Ahoy! Ahoy! Lamb see the sky!
Ahoy! Ahoy! Barmy and sober!"
Very proud Englishman
ОтветитьStill a great song in 2025
ОтветитьAnd today islam taking over UK and no resistance.
ОтветитьThe Victoria cross medal is made from the bronze of a captured Russian canon, taken during the Crimean war.
ОтветитьSadly the movie does a huge discredit to many of the people involved. Not the generals but many of the other players, portraying them as fools, braindead sluts, you name it.
ОтветитьWe showed them Russians back then. "Want some?!" "You betta have a sh*t load of ammo!"
And they did.
And on a more present theme, this is pretty much what an up to date British army would be able to afford against the Russians these days.
Minus the riders.
"Oh, I've gotta a lovely bunch of coconuts..."
Merry old England.
AHOY! AHOY!
Same enemy
👍
That works!
