What if i need to do a full pentratoin weld on thicker plate or a 5/16 fillet weld. In other words; a joint that requires multiple passes to build up the weld, is MIG capable of that?
ОтветитьGood video with good advice I will definitely be trying to improve my welds. Only down side was the sub-titles they made me chuckle as they were so wrong in places. I think you should remove as they are useless.
ОтветитьHey, why don't you put anti spatter on the inside of the gas cone, would it just bounce off too or would it burn away quickly.
ОтветитьYou mentioned a few times about not burning through the material.
Do you have a video that explains what to do if you happen to?
what about the toxic smell of burning? can I wear a mask or does the helmet help with that?
ОтветитьThanks Matt very helpful.
ОтветитьVery nice and informative video. Please turn off the sub titles they are distracting, comical, serve no purpose and cover up too much of the picture.
ОтветитьAudio on second video is very bad. Can hardly hear what you are saying
ОтветитьThanks guys!!!! Really awesome video for a noobie like me.
I haven't welded in years and am.wmbarassed to ask......when you hit the trigger to advance the wire, does it also trigger the voltage to the tip?
In other words, is the tip always live if the machine is on?
Great info, thank you!! It's been almost 10 years since I welded and I needed a refresher.
Ответитьboy the audio was terrible
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you!
ОтветитьJoe, you forgot to turn the gas back on at the end, to show us your spot weld. You got abit flustered and went rambling on thinking of other things, hoping no one saw your rookie mistake. Thanks for you videos, they’re very helpful.
ОтветитьEastwood home of welding...from Milan Italy i say ciao
ОтветитьHelpful. I just don't know why beginner lessons never show welding two pieces together. The whole point of welding. Nobody's running useless beads across a piece of steel.
ОтветитьWell done! Great video. Excellent presentation!!
ОтветитьThank you for the expertise. Just a heads up as I'm sure others by now have advised that we can hardly hear you and what we can hear is muffled
ОтветитьWould you say slower settings for welding is better than higher settings? Obviously try your best and get the settings perfect ALL the time…. but a slower weld is better than a higher setting weld?
ОтветитьWell, just when we get to the part that I really want to hear we get stupid music and can't hear the bloody fizzing. Sort yourself out please.
ОтветитьPlease invest in a proper microphone.
ОтветитьThank you for this excellent video on MIG welding. I was raised on the old Lincoln arc welders, I did not enjoy them. MIG however is far advanced in effectiveness and more applications.
ОтветитьGreatly appreciate the course. Another reason I went with Eastwood, instructive videos. I just bought the 90 welder to get started. Question: Same procedures for the 90 as with the 175 used utilized in the video? Thanks again for the well done instructions presented in an easy to understand and follow manner.
ОтветитьGreat videos on welding. Have you ever reviewed the subtitling? It's hilariously wrong.
ОтветитьVOC stands for “Volatile Organic Compounds” if anyone is interested
ОтветитьGood info thanks . Not too sure if the background music was needed. I thought a pop up video started while watching, Id rather watch and hear the video than listen to that stuff otherwise id have played a music video.,
ОтветитьGreat video. I want to learn to weld but I’m not sure which of the 3 welders to get. Im only going to be welding body panel parts on my old truck. Which do you recommend?
ОтветитьWhere is the instructional on the MIG 90.?
ОтветитьWhat size metal are you welding? You have machine set to what speed ?
ОтветитьGreat video for a beginner. Excellent tips and directions. Unfortunately, the music in the background was a annoying distraction from focusing. Imagine trying to take notes and /or be attentive to a professor's lecture in class. This was intended to be a series of learning classes, no?
Ответитьthank you very informative. I'm sure it will help knowing how things can be adjusted. The closed caption was a good laugh. Must be that new AI stuff.
ОтветитьThanks for posting this much appreciated
ОтветитьCan't hear it
ОтветитьWhats going on with the Audio?
ОтветитьGreat video, loads of invaluable information. I still have a question though. On starting the weld, is it the contact of the wire that starts the weld or the pulling of the trigger? As you can tell, I'm a complete and utter newbie. Just doing some research while my welder is on its way. It is a gasless welder, so I don't know if these techniques still apply. Many thanks.
ОтветитьWay late to the party, But is there a way to reduce spatter?
ОтветитьYou need a new microphone
ОтветитьIs it recommended to weld flat when joining two pieces together?
ОтветитьIs joe still employed?
ОтветитьWhere does the bulk of the wire feed from, and how do you load the wire?
ОтветитьThank goodness FOCUS technology has improved over the past 8 years! Lol. Good video, covers some important basics
ОтветитьRookies.. next.
ОтветитьIt would be nice to be able to Hear what you are saying! Audio went to 0..
ОтветитьWhats with the fooked up volume...?
ОтветитьHe's got 2 cans of some kind of aerosol stray getting showered with sparks. Hope this was not his usual method of operation
ОтветитьI have learnt a lot much thanks
ОтветитьCould not really hear it properly not very good audio will have to find a better clip from someone else
ОтветитьWhat is with the music? Turn it off so we can hear what you're saying....
ОтветитьThis is more annoying than useful. It’d be better without the backing track.
ОтветитьGreat video. I'm new to welding and learning alot from these videos.
Ответитьhe looks like the punisher
