Depression, mental illness and OCD is very common, yet it isn't spoken about much

A lot of mental illness is due to our lifestyle choices

And also our desire for a quick-fix

My father, who's a doctor, brought me to my first psychiatrist at 15 years old

I requested to be placed on medication because the medication was supposed to "cure" me.

It didn't

The psychiatric medication had horrible side:

- impaired memory
- impaired coordination
- low testosterone & desire to engage in physical activity
- hepatotoxic (bad for the liver)
- stresses your neurotransmitters (dopamine, acetylcholine and seratonin)
- The medication itself is oftentimes will with fluoride, a potent neurotoxin
- apathy

With OCD, I was constantly checking my pockets and making lists

OCD is an anxiety disorder where you complete the compulsions to mitigate the anxiety from the obsessive thoughts.

I believe that many of the compulsions and obsessions arose to compensate for my reduced mental abilities

At my worst, I was sleeping 18 hours a day

Not showering

I was so depressed that I could barely think clearly and I could barely talk

I went to Columbia University and had CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), intravenous Ketamine transfusion, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS)

Mental illness is very serious

If you're not healthy, then you can't be a productive member of society

You can ALWAYS make more money as long as you're healthy

It's important to modify your diet and take the right supplements and develop good habits to overcome depression and mental illness
